The War of Emperium (WoE) is the guild siege of the castles. ArionRO runs it at three fixed times a week, picked so that Europe, the Americas and Asia each get an evening slot. CEST shows these times in your time zone.

All times are server time (CET), and they follow daylight saving with the server. On the two Sundays the clocks change, the Sunday 02:00 war still lasts one hour: on the last Sunday of October it runs once (that hour repeats), and on the last Sunday of March, when 02:00 is skipped, it starts at 03:00.

The Second Edition and Training Edition castles are not run.
Castles, guardians and treasure work as in the official game: ArionRO changes only the schedule. Holding a castle has the usual official rewards.
War Board and @war
The War Board by the castle gate in Prontera north , or
@war anywhere, shows:- whether the War of Emperium is on right now, or the next slot (server time, CET) and how long until it starts;
- who holds each castle, town by town ("unclaimed" when nobody does);
- the battlegrounds: whether a match is running and how many play, and how many wait in the Battleground room. You join at a Maroll Battle Recruiter (Prontera and six other towns).
What the server announces
- 10 minutes before: "The War of Emperium begins in 10 minutes. Guilds, to your castles!"
- At the start: "The War of Emperium has begun!"
- At the end: "The War of Emperium is over." Then one line per castle that has an owner: which guild holds it.
Other events around WoE
- No other event starts in the hour before WoE or during it. A World Boss or rotating event that would fall in that window is skipped, so the Saturday 19:30 and Sunday 02:30 and 12:30 World Boss rounds do not run.
