Play with the baby cats: Talk to Rato, the Expert Cat (malangdo, 165,223). You need base level 60. He asks you to keep the youngest kids busy: Charo (gold fur), Roku (black fur) and Rosy (white fur). Answer 'Yeah, sure I do.', 'Kids?' and 'Uh, sure...'.

The broken machine: Find the three kittens at the strange machine (malangdo, 211,203). Listen quietly, then answer 'I have a spare Glass Bead!'. You need 1 Glass Bead with you. The bead fixes their Duruduru compass. Charo thanks you with 30 Malangdo Canned Specialties. Reward: 30 Malangdo Canned Specialties.

Charo's Adventure Card: Talk to Charo again and answer 'A visitor?' then 'I'll give it a try.' to get an Adventure Card A. Your pack needs free space and weight. Reward: Adventure Card A.

The Duruduru race: Put your Adventure Card A into the Beginning Compass (malangdo, 212,204) and press its button. It lights up five compasses in a fixed order; walk to each one, put the card in and answer its sum. After the fifth, go to the Meowbell on the deck of the ship Navi (malangdo, 175,163) and ring it. You have 3 minutes from the start. Then talk to Charo. Compasses: Red Flame (213,89), Blue Flame (128,103), Gold Flame (73,253), Forest (153,146), Cloud (111,178). The Beginning Compass shows the colour order; there are two orders. The sums: red adds two numbers up to 999, blue multiplies 1-9 by 1-9, gold subtracts, forest is a + b x c, cloud is a + a x a. If you run out of time the card comes out with a fail stamp and Charo gives you another try; Roku sells a new card for 1 Malangdo Canned Specialties. This race can be run again later for 3 E Grade Coin and base and job experience, but only once per timer in the quest log (about 4 hours).

A bomb on the island: Show Charo (malangdo, 211,203) the card after the bell. He asks you to help the great detective on the ship Navi. Answer 'What an adventure! I'll take it!' and he swaps your card for an Adventure Card B. If you said no, talk to Charo again and answer 'Yes I do.'. Reward: Adventure Card B.

The Cat Detective: Find the Cat Detective and his friend by the ship Navi (malangdo, 172,178). Listen to their story and answer 'Continue to humor them.'.
Cat Detective: -
Stop the noisy machine: Use the Noisy Machine next to the detective (malangdo, 174,175) with your Adventure Card B. It flashes 2, 4, 6 and 8 coloured lights in turn. After each round press the partner colour of every light, in order: Red for Green, Green for Red, Blue for Yellow, Yellow for Blue. A wrong press burns the card (Adventure Card B). Then talk to the Cat Detective (172,178) and buy a new one for 1 Malangdo Canned Specialties. A success gives 3 E Grade Coin and base and job experience; the machine rests for a timer in the quest log (about 4 hours) before you can try again. Reward: 3 E Grade Coin.

A new Adventure Card B: The machine burnt your card. Talk to the Cat Detective (malangdo, 172,178) and buy a new Adventure Card B for 1 Malangdo Canned Specialties, then try the Noisy Machine again. A wrong press burns the card (Adventure Card B). Then talk to the Cat Detective (172,178) and buy a new one for 1 Malangdo Canned Specialties. A success gives 3 E Grade Coin and base and job experience; the machine rests for a timer in the quest log (about 4 hours) before you can try again. Reward: 3 E Grade Coin.

Hidden treasure?: Talk to the Cat Detective (malangdo, 172,178) again. He says treasure is hidden in the cabins of the ship Navi. Answer 'Oh, yes!'.

Six picture pieces: Search the cabins of the ship Navi (mal_in02) for six pieces of a torn painting. Each hiding place gives one piece. Some crew members chase you out of the cabin, so just try again. The hiding places: Box (187,45), Book (170,75), Dirty Bed (133,98), Seashell (31,57), Ship Pillar (114,56), Ventilation Window (139,30). Each spot gives one Picture Fragment. Keep all 6 with you. Reward: 6 Picture Fragment.

The painting: Bring the six Picture Fragments to the Cat Detective (malangdo, 172,178). He and his friend say the pieces belong to the Meow Bravery Team.

Back to Charo: Give the six Picture Fragments to Charo (malangdo, 211,203). He asks you to hand them to Rato.

Rato's gift: Take the six Picture Fragments to Rato (malangdo, 165,223). Rato keeps the painting on his wall. Talk to him afterwards to look at it. Reward: 100 E Grade Coin.
