The Doomed Swords (Comodo to Juno) is an official episode chain for levels 26-200 in 39 steps. It starts at Campground Boy. @guide shows your next step in game.

Walkthrough

  1. Rochito at the campground: Talk to Rochito, the Campground Boy by the barbeque in Comodo (comodo, 206,310). Choose 'BBQ Camping...?'. He listens to your answer and asks you to find out why the Chief of Comodo has not brought the Koserahserah seasoning. This is the start of the road to a doomed sword. The tokens in this quest (bottle cap, coin, button, slate, stamp, ink, compass, seal) are tracked by the quest itself; nothing extra shows up in your bag. Only the items you hand over are real.
    Campground Boy:
  2. Chief Tausupa: Go to the house of the Chief of Comodo, Tausupa, west of the campground (cmd_in02, 32,140). Ask him 'About Banished Witch'. He cannot leave his post and gives you the Koserahserah seasoning for Rochito. If you choose 'About Casino' he only talks about the casino and nothing moves on.
    Chief:
  3. Back to Rochito: Bring the seasoning back to Rochito (comodo, 206,310). He asks you to take a bottle of Mureuchieligu wine to the Chief.
  4. The wine for the Chief: Give the wine to Chief Tausupa (cmd_in02, 32,140). He thanks the camp and asks you to pass his thanks to his friends.
  5. Rockha at the campground: Tell Rockha, the Camping Youth next to Rochito (comodo, 204,310), what the Chief said.
    Camping Youth:
  6. Toruna and the strange place: Talk to Toruna (comodo, 88,97) and choose 'This place sure is strange...'. She tells you about a rumour of a magnificent Comodo Cheese and a man in the bar who insists on it. Pick 'This place sure is strange...'. The other option, 'This cave is huge!', only gives a lecture on caves.
    Toruna:
  7. Rakusa in the bar: Find Rakusa in the Comodo bar (comodo, 164,291). He grumbles about the man who keeps talking about Comodo Cheese.
    Rakusa:
  8. Kichiri: Talk to Kichiri, one of the drinkers (comodo, 169,284). He wants you to get Magatu to be quiet.
    Kichiri:
  9. Magatu and his bottle cap: Talk to Magatu (comodo, 163,280). He is thrilled that somebody believes in Comodo Cheese and sends you on to a man called Manzi in the casino with his lucky bottle cap.
    Magatu:
  10. Manzi in the casino: Find Manzi inside the Comodo casino (cmd_in02, 189,99) and show him the bottle cap. He gives you his lucky coin for the old woman at the dance stage.
Manzi:
  1. Hullaris at the dance stage: Talk to Hullaris, the old woman near the dance stage in the middle of Comodo (comodo, 187,153). Choose 'Present Muzi's Coin'. She explains that Comodo Cheese is really the Awakening Stone and sends you to a trainer called Nigirboran. Choose the coin line first. The cheese line alone only gets you told off.
Hullaris:
  1. Nigirboran, first visit: Find Nigirboran in the Comodo dungeon cave (beach_dun3, 30,220). Talk to him once: he warns you about the risks of the Awakening Stone and tells you to come back when you are ready.
Nigirboran:
  1. Nigirboran's test: Talk to Nigirboran again (beach_dun3, 30,220). He tests your body, mind and spirit. You need job level 21 and base level 26 or more; one in three tries passes, and he hands you a token button for Hullaris. Below job level 21 or base level 26 you only faint and have to come back stronger. At or above that level a try can still fail: just talk to him again, there is no limit on attempts.
  2. The Awakening Stone: Show the button to Hullaris (comodo, 187,153). She hands you a plate of Comodo Cheese and you eat it: that is the Awakening Stone.
  3. Meteurengut in Aldebaran: Go to Meteurengut in Aldebaran (aldebaran, 44,53). He agrees to rebuild the Slate of Muriniel and names the stones he needs.
Meteurengut:
  1. Stones for the slate: Bring Meteurengut 1 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, 1 Blue Gemstone, 1 Shining Stone and 1 Rough Elunium.
  2. A fresh Cobweb: Bring Meteurengut 1 Cobweb. He builds the Slate of Muriniel and tells you about a man in Morocc who can make the Book of the Lamb. Cobwebs come from the spiders in Muriniel Pass, on the way to Aldebaran.
  3. Zaka in Morocc: Find Zaka in Morocc (morocc, 201,30). He senses the slate on you and starts the Book of the Lamb, asking for several things one after another.
Zaka:
  1. First batch: Snake Scales: Bring Zaka 2 Snake Scales. Keep to the order: he only takes the batch he asked for. The Stinky Scale is the last item.
  2. Second batch: a Scale Shell: Bring Zaka 1 Scale Shell. Keep to the order: he only takes the batch he asked for. The Stinky Scale is the last item.
  3. Third batch: a Shining Scale: Bring Zaka 1 Shining Scale. Keep to the order: he only takes the batch he asked for. The Stinky Scale is the last item.
  4. Last batch: a Stinky Scale: Bring Zaka 1 Stinky Scale. Keep to the order: he only takes the batch he asked for. The Stinky Scale is the last item.
  5. Won's judgement: Go to Won in Comodo (comodo, 232,87). He looks into your eyes, finds no ill intent and gives you the Stamp of Muriniel.
Won:
  1. Sage Yklah: Travel to Juno. Talk to Sage Yklah on the book store street (yuno, 261,99) and choose '(Show him the slate)'. A citizen at the entrance of Juno (yuno, 157,87) can point you the way. Do not pick the other two lines, they only waste his time.
Sage Yklah:
  1. Items for the grooves: Bring Yklah 3 Claws of
    Desert Wolf
, 10 Teeth of Bat and 1 Piece of Egg Shell. He inserts them into the statue and the two halves of the stamp join into the True Stamp of Muriniel. Claws of Desert Wolf drop in the Morocc desert, Teeth of Bat in most caves, the egg shell from the egg monsters in Payon Cave.
  2. Sage Syklah: Go to Sage Syklah near the statue of the Goddess Snotora in Juno (yuno, 305,207). He tests you with a joke and asks for materials for a legendary ink.
Sage Syklah:
  1. Red ink: Bring Syklah 20 Red Herbs, 5 Stones and 1 Stone Heart. He makes the Stamping Ink of Muriniel.
  2. Sage Esklah: Visit Sage Esklah on the island of Solomon (yuno, 213,298). He tells the story of the stamp maker Muriniel and asks you to bring materials for a compass.
Sage Esklah:
  1. Materials for the compass: Bring Esklah 2 Iron Ore, 10 Acorns and 5 Decayed Nails.
  2. Second helping: Bring Esklah 2 Brigan and 1 Phracon. He finishes the Compass of Muriniel; the engraving points to Mount Mjornir.
  3. Muriniel's Cottage: Walk to the cottage at Mount Mjornir (mjolnir_02, 170,193). Use the stamp and the ink on the pattern in the floor. A recording speaks to you, and the stamp and the compass turn into the Dignity of Muriniel.
Muriniel's Cottage:
  1. Walker, the first blacksmith: Visit the Middle-Aged Man in the house nearby (mjolnir_02, 186,193). He is Walker, one of three blacksmith brothers. Show him the seal and he promises to help. The recording says to come back when the trees shed their leaves, but Walker works at once, there is no waiting.
Middle-Aged Man:
  1. Walker's list: Talk to Walker again. He names the materials he needs for the first part of the pentagram.
  2. Materials for the pentagram: Bring Walker 1 Emperium, 3 Tentacles, 25 Amulets, 1 Coal and 1 Necklace of Oblivion.
  3. The pentagram scroll: Talk to Walker. He tells you about the Dwarves and gives you a scroll with the first part of the pentagram. Take it to his brother Morf in the Payon tavern.
  4. Morf in the Payon tavern: Find Morf, the drunk Old Man in Payon (payon, 248,159). He agrees to help and demands 20 Yellow Potions for his hangover.
Old Man:
  1. Yellow Potions for Morf: Bring Morf 20 Yellow Potions.
  2. Morf's materials: Bring Morf 1 Coal, 3 Trunks, 3 Old Hilts, 50 Ogre Teeth and 1 Foolishness of the Blind.
  3. Wait for Morf to finish: Keep talking to Morf. He is slow: each time he either keeps working, naps, or finally tells you the pentagram part is done and tells you to look for his brother Huey in Morocc. One try in five finishes it. There is no way to speed this up. Just talk to him again until he is done.
  4. Huey in Morocc: Find Huey, the Young Man in Morocc (morocc, 248,159). He agrees to finish the pentagram and asks for exact amounts.
Young Man:
  1. Huey's materials: Bring Huey exactly 9 Rubies, 6 Blades Lost in Darkness, 9 Bloody Edges and 1 Loki's Whispers. No more and no less, or he refuses. If you carry extra of these, put them in your storage first.
  2. The doomed sword: Talk to Huey with a free inventory slot and enough weight. The pentagram lights up, the seal opens and the sword chooses you: Grimtooth (about half the time), Mysteltainn (about three in ten) or Executioner (about one in five). If you carry too much he asks you to store things first and nothing is lost. The swords are cursed, as the brothers warn. Reward: One doomed sword: Grimtooth, Mysteltainn or Executioner (not your choice).
