Walkthrough

  1. Guarnien: Enlarge Weight Limit: As a Merchant, talk to Guarnien (70,51) inside Alberta and answer "Sure!". His first lesson needs Enlarge Weight Limit at level 4 or more. If you come back later to show it, have it at level 4 to 9: at level 10 he does not count it. Learn Item Appraisal first to get his reward. Reward: Battle Axe, 58 base EXP and 11 job EXP if you know Item Appraisal.

  2. Guarnien: Mammonite: Talk to Guarnien (70,51) again. He explains Mammonite. Reward: 70 base EXP and 12 job EXP if Mammonite is level 4 to 9.
  3. Guarnien: Discount: Learn Discount to level 4 or more and talk to Guarnien (70,51). Reward: 83 base EXP and 11 job EXP, or 97 base EXP and 18 job EXP with Discount at level 10.
  4. Guarnien: the Red Potion test: Talk to Guarnien (70,51). He wants 10 Red Potions bought for the cheapest fair price and sends you to Prontera (155,46). Bring at least 390 Zeny.
  5. Red Potions: buy from Sagle: Guarnien picks the sellers' prices for each try. On this try the fair price, 390 Zeny, is at Sagle (66,111) in Prontera: buy 10 Red Potions there. Keep 71 weight free. The seller who asks 340 Zeny is a scammer, and Guarnien makes you buy again.

  11. Guarnien: Vending: Learn Vending to level 4 or more and talk to Guarnien (70,51) for his last lesson. Reward: 186 base EXP and 43 to 60 job EXP, or 199 base EXP and 69 job EXP with Vending at level 10.
