Walkthrough

  1. Meet Akkie: Talk to Akkie of the Blacksmith Guild and choose "Sure." He asks for 1 Steel, 5 Coal, 1 Iron Hammer, 500 zeny and 1 Detrimindexta.

  2. Bring the materials: Talk to Akkie with 1 Steel, 5 Coal, 1 Iron Hammer, 500 zeny and 1 Detrimindexta. He takes them and starts forging.
  3. He made a mistake: Talk to Akkie again. He spoiled the sample and needs 1 more Steel and 3 more Coal.
  4. Bring more materials: Talk to Akkie with 1 Steel and 3 Coal. He takes them and tries again.
  5. He broke the hammer: Talk to Akkie again. He broke the Iron Hammer and needs another.
  6. Bring an Iron Hammer: Talk to Akkie with 1 Iron Hammer. He takes it and tries one more time.
  7. The lesson: Talk to Akkie one last time. The sample worked and he teaches you Dubious Salesmanship. Reward: The Dubious Salesmanship skill.
