Kouji the singing boy: In Amatsu town, find Kouji (amatsu, 189,166), who sings in rhymes. Talk to him until his song mentions a fox and a priest. Quest log 8133. Kouji · Amatsu 189/166

The Kitsune Mask: Visit Takehue, the man in the Kitsune Mask, in the old shrine (ama_in01, 180,173). He explains fox spirits. When he asks for your spirit, answer 'Taaaaah!!'. Quest log 8134. Kitsune Mask · Inside Amatsu 180/173

Expel the fox: Go to the old woman at (22,111) in the same shrine and shout at the fox again and again. A Priest has three chances in four; an Acolyte, a Monk or anyone carrying a Holy Water, a Bear's Footskin or a Tiger Skin has one in two; others only one in four. A failure sends you back outside to (167,197); try again. On success a Nine Tail appears and you get a Nine Tails item. Quest log 8135. Bring the Nine Tails to the lord.
