Walkthrough

  1. Shuda's lost ring: Talk to the loud woman by the water in Ayothaya (233,105). She is Shuda; her fiance Annon ran off and threw her engagement ring in the pond. She asks you to dive for it. Quest log 12029.
    Powerful-Looking Woman:
  2. Fish for the ring: Fish in the pond with the Fisherman, Dannai (253,99). Each cast costs 1 Monster's Feed and 50 zeny, and gives a random catch (Stone, Red Potion, Yellow Potion, Sushi, a Flower Ring or a Diamond Ring). One cast in ten hooks the Engagement Ring. Quest log 12030.
    Fisherman:
  3. Give the ring back: Give the Engagement Ring to Shuda. She is delighted, and then wants Annon found.
  4. The scared runner: Talk to the Old Man by the shrine (193,171). He saw a man run screaming into the forest towards the ruins. Quest log 12031-12032.
    Old Man:
  5. Footprints I: Walk over the footprints at the first spot of the Ayothaya Dungeon, level 1 (255,62). Each pass has a one-in-three chance to show the trail.

  6. Footprints II: Next trail at (74,142), same dungeon level.

  7. Footprints III: Next trail at (244,256).

  8. Footprints IV: Next trail at (17,257).

  9. Down to level 2: On the second dungeon level (ayo_dun02) the trail continues at (145,120).

  10. Footprints VI: Next trail at (135,168). Here you may find a pack of potions or only a rat, then more prints lead east.

  1. Footprints VII: Next trail at (77,213).
AyoFootprint7:
  1. Footprints VIII: Last trail at (86,254).
AyoFootprint8:
  1. The blood stain: Search the bushes at (91,263) under the big tree; a blood stain leads you to a hiding place. Quest log 12033-12034.
  1. Annon the Haggard Man: Talk to the Haggard Man in the hiding place (91,264). He is Annon, hurt from his spiritual training. Give him a White Potion; he will heal you in thanks and begs you not to tell Shuda where he is. Needs 1 White Potion. Quest log 12034 completes here. Reward: base EXP by level: 900 under level 56, 1,050 at 56-60, 1,868 at 61-65, 2,741 at 66-70, 7,075 at 71-75, 13,024 at 76-80, 15,034 at 81-85, 18,205 at 86-90, 40,678 above.
