Walkthrough

  1. Secretary Lime Evenor: From base level 140 and as a member of the Eden Group, talk to Secretary Lime Evenor at the Eden Group headquarters. She has a new assignment for you.

  2. Commander Arquien: Go to Commander Arquien (Nile) in the same building. She wants you to find out what happened on the Last Exploration.
    Commander Arquien:
  3. Meet Dr. Aures: Lime Evenor introduces the archaeologist Dr. Aures and sends you to the excavation in Phantasmagorika. Take the road through Juperos to reach it.
    Secretary Lime Evenor:
  4. Join the excavation team: In Phantasmagorika, give the team name "Atnad" to Receptionist Nara, then speak to the archaeologist Aures. Reward: base and job EXP (300,000 / 300,000 from Nara).
    Receptionist Nara:
  5. Core Collection: Team leader Ian Atnad wants 20 Operation Control Devices. Robots around the site drop them (
    Recon Robot    ,
    Repair Robot    ,
    Exploration Rover    ). Hand them in, then report to Aures. Aures then sends you to the machinist Lloyd to check on his work. Reward: base and job EXP (750,000 / 500,000 from Ian).
    Ian Atnad:
  6. Condensed energy: Machinist Lloyd needs 10 Condensed Energy. Fill 10 Empty Bottles at the Machine Remnants in the same area (each remnant needs about 30 seconds to recharge), then give the bottles to Lloyd.

  7. The excavation report: Back at the camp: Aures takes the Excavator Report, Commander Louis wants a report too, then Ian Atnad sets you a new job. Reward: base and job EXP (300,000 / 300,000 from Commander Louis).

  8. In search of a delicacy: Luke Lapez makes Beef Toast for Ian. Bring him 2 Meat, 1 Mora Mandarin (dropped by
    Pom Spider    ) and 1 Banana.

  9. Access permitted: Give the Beef Toast to Ian Atnad and ask about the Last Exploration. The team now has permission to enter the closed research facility, and Ian asks you to look around there first.
  10. The first Memory Record: In the research facility, look at the strewn paper to find a Memory Record.
Strewn paper:
  1. A record player: Show Ian Atnad the record. He needs a record player and sends you to Commander Arquien at the Eden Group headquarters.
  2. Arquien wants five: Ask Commander Arquien about the "Record Player". She can only play a record built from 5 Memory Records, so go back to the research facility where you found the first one and search the area for the rest.
  3. Play the record: Take the 5 Memory Records to Arquien at the excavation camp in Phantasmagorika; she assembles them and you press play on the record player. The voices mention the name Atnad. Tell Ian what you heard. Ian asks you to look for more records in the huge underground facility near the laboratories. Reward: base and job EXP (750,000 / 500,000 from Arquien).
Commander Arquien:
  1. Records of the laboratories: Search the underground facility near the laboratories (boxes, desks, heaps of machine remains, a thicket, food trays and a document pile) for 5 Laboratory Memory Records. Each hiding place gives one record and reappears after 30 seconds. Take them to Arquien to be played, then report to Ian. Reward: base and job EXP (750,000 / 500,000 from Arquien).
  2. One memory a day: Arquien plays one set of records per day. Collect a set of 5 and have her play it: four research-facility sets (one per day), then one laboratory set. After the fifth play she tells you to go to Ian, because visitors have arrived at the camp.
  3. The Chief Secretary visits: Ian Atnad meets the Chief Secretary of Rekenber's Secretariat at the camp. The chairman wants to see all of you at the Rekenber Corporation headquarters in Lighthalzen, and asks you to keep the record contents private for now. Meet Ian there.
  4. The chairman's offer: At the Rekenber headquarters in Lighthalzen, the chairman asks the team to bury everything the Memory Records revealed, and offers the team sole rights to the finds in return. Ian is furious. Arquien and Ian then argue about the years he spent away; stay with them.
Rekenber Chairman:
  1. Tatio: The Chief Secretary reveals who he is: Tatio, the last survivor of Verus, a friend of Ian's great-grandfather Lasse Atnad. He explains the Juperos attack and the missing week in Ian's memory. Reward: base and job EXP (4,500,000 / 3,000,000).
