The Novice's Memory: Alone in a party of one, book the memory with Grape and go in. Upstairs, talk to the novices in the order they tell you, wake the old machine by the door, see the 8 Fragments of Past round the library, name every friend in the circle and answer Grape's three questions. The fragments go clockwise from the east; your progress is kept if you leave. The memory can be re-entered once an hour.
