The Raffle Researcher's lost tools: Talk to the Raffle Researcher in the Village of Mora (mora, 31,138). You need base level 100, and he sleeps between 0:00 and 5:00 server time. Offer your help. Keep about 500 weight free before every talk with him or with the Black Shadow.

Find the research tools: Step onto the bath spots near the hot spring (mora, 114,79). Now and then (about 1 time in 5) a Black Shadow rises from a dark hole. Beat it in the text duel and choose 'Look for the research tools.', then bring the Research Tool Bag to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138). He gives you 1 Mora Coin. The duel is all menu choices; running away works half the time. If you lose, you faint, lose most of your HP and wake up at the village (mora, 31,132). The shadow needs 1 hour between duels. Stay under the weight limit or the bag stays behind. Reward: 1 Mora Coin.

Wait for the next job: Rest at the inn. After at least 1 hour talk to the Raffle Researcher again (mora, 31,138). He asks you to bully the creature 3 times.

Bully the creature 3 times: Go back to the bath spots (mora, 114,79). When the Black Shadow shows up, win the duel and type what you do to it. Do this 3 times, with 1 hour between each. The counter moves by itself after each win: 3, then 4, then 5, then done.

Bath research begins: Tell the Raffle Researcher the creature got its lesson (mora, 31,138). He gives you 10 Empty Test Tube. Keep some weight free: he will not hand items over otherwise. Reward: 10 Empty Test Tube.

Bath water samples: Walk onto the glowing spots around the bath (mora, 108,86 / 107,82 / 113,84 / 116,81 / 118,86). Each try has about a 1 in 3 chance to fill a test tube. Bring 10 Bath Water Sample to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138). Reward: 1 Mora Coin.

Sample testing: The basic tests take about 24 hours. Come back to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138); he asks you for the creature's teeth or scales.

Teeth or scales: Collect 10 Teeth Sample or 10 Scale Sample at the same glowing spots (mora, 108,86 and the other four), whichever he named. Bring them to the Raffle Researcher. The analysis takes about 6 hours; come back afterwards. He may say the sample was a normal species. Then he names the other kind: collect that one and ask again. Reward: 1 Mora Coin.

East puddle: Collect a Sample Of Puddle Research from the puddle east of the village, 2 o'clock (bif_fild02, 315,285). Bring it to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138). You get an Empty Test Tube for each puddle.

- South puddle: Collect a puddle sample from the puddle south of the village, 6 o'clock (bif_fild02, 223,71). Bring it to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138).
- North puddle: Collect a puddle sample from the puddle north of the village, 11 o'clock (bif_fild02, 113,340). Bring it to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138). Keep weight free for the 4 coins. Reward: 4 Mora Coin.
- The final experiment: The comparison takes about 12 hours. Then talk to the Raffle Researcher (mora, 31,138) and choose to look at the report. After this the report can be read again at any time. Reward: 30 Mora Coin, 1,000,000 base and 4,000,000 job experience.
