The Commander: Talk to Commander Hibba Agip in the north of the camp. He and his staff bicker, and then the Commander sends you to Staff Officer Abidal for a private word. Needs most of the camp quests behind you (see the About note).
Hibba Agip: -
Abidal explains: Staff Officer Abidal says the Commander needs a trustworthy courier for an expedition report. Tell him you accept, then go back to the Commander.
Staff Officer Abidal: -
The report: The Commander gives you the expedition report to carry to three national officials: Laur of Rune-Midgarts, Priest Nuria of Arunafeltz and Gerhart of Schwarzwald. A messenger waits at the time-space gap to announce you. You receive one Expedition Report.
-
The messenger: Find the Expedition Messenger at the time-space gap in the south-east of the camp and show him the report. He asks you to hand it over. If you refuse, he attacks you; either way the pages are scattered in the fight, and he asks you to tell the Commander. Two outcomes: hand it over (the Commander says you tried to give it to the enemy) or fight (he praises you for protecting it). Both lead to the same search.
Expedition Messenger: -
Tell the Commander: Tell the Commander the report is lost. He sets up Staff Officer Abidal to rebuild the report from any pages you bring and sends Instructor Igrid to inspect the camp's security. Go to Abidal.
-
Where to look: Abidal suggests the site of the accident and says monsters may have taken the pages because the report describes their ecology. Bring him pages in sets of 10. Quest log 'Report to the continent - Location of reports' (3089 to 3091).
-
Gather the pages: Collect Some Pages of the Report (6040): ask the four Expedition Scouts (man_fild01 315,95; man_fild03 202,251; spl_fild02 295,368; spl_fild03 172,71; one answer per 30 minutes, 0 to 5 pages each) and kill the special monsters in those fields (Luciola Vespa,Pinguicula,Cornus,Naga,Nepenthes,Hillthrion,Centipede,Tatacho), which also drop pages. Bring 10 at a time to Abidal: each set restores one random volume of four, and a volume you already have wastes the set. All four volumes finish the report.
-
The restored report: Abidal binds the volumes into a new Expedition Report. The Commander hands you three copies, one per official. Hold three Expedition Reports, one for each official.
-
Deliver the three reports: Deliver one report each to Priest Nuria in the temple of Rachel, Gerhart in Lighthalzen (second floor office) and Laur, aide of the Home Minister of Rune-Midgarts. They can be visited in any order. Nuria is glad it arrived safely, Gerhart says he waited a long time, and Laur complains about the delay but finds the report well done. Gerhart: lhz_in01 110,174. Laur: prt_cas 108,265. The quest only moves on once all three have a report.
Nuria: -
Back to the Commander: Tell the Commander the reports reached all three officials. He asks you to help again later and rewards you. Reward: 300,000 base EXP and 3 First Aid Kits.
