Walkthrough

Monster scholar Rumis: Talk to the Monster Scholar Rumis Block in the camp. Rumis works for the monsternomics academy, did not choose to come here, and is too scared to go outside the camp.

Monster Scholar:
Through the gate: Ask the Camp Guard at the camp gate to open the way to the fields, and fetch a Strong Vine from the
Nepenthes outside. Show it to Rumis to prove the Nepenthes are no worse than the ones back home. The guard sends you through to the west bridge field, or to the two bridges on the east side.

Camp Guard:
Show the loot: Rumis feels a little braver after seeing Nepenthes loot and asks for specimen tools: 1 Empty Bottle, 5 Holy Water and 30 Sticky Mucus. The soldiers have caught Nepenthes meanwhile. Rumis hands you a Nepenthes Specimen to deliver to the twin.
To Botanist Terris: Carry the specimen to Botanist Terris east of the camp. Terris jokes, hints at the beautiful dangerous life across the leftward bridge, and wants 30 of its dangerous plants hunted.

Botanist:
Pinguicula: Cross the leftward bridge and defeat 30 Pinguicula, the dangerous green plants. Targets: 30
Pinguicula.
Cornus pests: Report to Terris. After the Pinguicula the Cornus are chewing the research meters: defeat 10 of them. Terris explains the green land is no natural field. Terris gives you a Decaying Stem. Targets: 10
Cornus.
Plant the stem: Go to the strange mushroom-shaped building across the left bridge and plant the Decaying Stem in the soil next to it, then water the sprout.

Environment purifier:
The sprout: Dig a hole at the dirt patch beside the purifier and plant the stem. It sprouts. Reward: Germinating Sprout.

Dirt:
The botanist at the purifier: Talk to Terris at the purifier. The sprout is healthy. Tell Rumis the specimen arrived and the research went great.

Botanist:
Back to Rumis: Return to Rumis with Terris's news. Rumis has already heard and decides to leave the tent to work outside; go ahead to the east bridge and wait.
The tree: Meet Rumis at the small tree to the south-east in the frozen field, where Rumis has climbed to watch the Hillthrions. Rumis wants 5 Hillthrion Horns.

Frozen Tree:

Hillthrion horns: Bring five Hillthrion Horns back to Rumis at the tree. They look ordinary, and Rumis wants to go back to the camp to talk.
The tricorn hat: Rumis in the camp tells you about an explorer who vanished beyond the right bridge, leaving only a tricorn hat. You are asked to find out what race lives over there: defeat 10 Tatacho. Targets: 10
Tatacho.
The owner of the hat: Report that the hat belongs to the monster Tatacho. Rumis is excited and asks if there is anything more. Reward: 100,000 base EXP.
A horn from the grass: Show Rumis the Horn of Tendrilion you found in the Splendide area. It resembles a
Hillthrion horn, so mutation or an evolved Hillthrion is possible, which Rumis finds fascinating. The Horn of Tendrilion drops from a mutated, grass-covered monster in the Splendide area. Reward: 50,000 base EXP.
