Work for Cellette: Talk to Cellette Lavit, the Fish Cake Soup cook in her house in Hugel (hu_in01, 15,372), and choose 'Sure, I'll work for you!' She picks one of four regular customers at random and hands you a bowl of Fish Cake Soup to deliver: Neha, Maewan, Layoma or Erjan. There is no level limit. If you only want to eat, 'I want to buy Fish Cake Soup' sells a bowl for 100 zeny without any work.
Cellette Lavit: -
Deliver to Neha: If Cellette sends you to her friend Neha, find her in Hugel (hugel, 76,134). She scolds you for being late and wants a Whip to punish you with: you must bring her 1 Whip. You need to keep the Fish Cake Soup in your bag. If you lost it, Cellette sells a new one for 100 zeny; if you cannot pay she refuses to work with you ever again. The branch continues in step 'A Whip for Neha'.
Neha: -
Deliver to Maewan: If Cellette sends you to Maewan, find him in Hugel (hugel, 87,139). He forgives the delay if you bring him 1 Bookclip in Memory with the soup.
Maewan: -
Deliver to Layoma: If Cellette sends you to her roommate Layoma, find her in Hugel (hugel, 84,125). She says you were too late and asks for 1 Mushroom Spore to prove you are reliable.
Layoma: -
Deliver to Erjan: If Cellette sends you to Erjan, find him in Hugel (hugel, 102,161). The nobleman will not eat from a bowl: he demands 1 China to eat from.
Erjan: -
A Whip for Neha: Return to Neha with the soup and 1 Whip. She whips you twice (each lash takes a quarter of your HP) and is satisfied. She will tell Cellette that you did a good job. She takes the Whip and the soup. It costs 50 % of your HP in total, so come with full health. Reward: Neha's approval.
-
A Bookclip for Maewan: Bring Maewan the Fish Cake Soup together with 1 Bookclip in Memory. He keeps the clip for his collection. Reward: Maewan's approval.
-
A Spore for Layoma: Bring Layoma the Fish Cake Soup together with 1 Mushroom Spore. She asks you to tell Cellette not to come home so late. Reward: Layoma's approval.
-
China for Erjan: Bring Erjan the Fish Cake Soup together with 1 China. He accepts the soup as a noble favour. Reward: Erjan's approval.
-
Back to Cellette: Return to Cellette Lavit. She thanks you and pays you with 3 Fish Cake Soup and a little base EXP. Afterwards you can take the next delivery. Repeatable: this step never shows as finished, because the whole quest resets the moment she pays you, and the next delivery picks a random customer again. If you lost your soup and could not pay for a new one, she refuses all further business. Reward: Fish Cake Soup x3, base EXP (100).
