The man with the notes: Wear the Ring of Wise King and talk to the researcher in the Midgard Camp, Bazett Teablack (carry little: he will not pay with a full bag). He searches for proof of the fairies and the giants and how their cultures differ. He asks whether you want to work with him, and sends you to search the Manuk and Splendide fields every day. Quest log 'Secret note of Bazet' (11101). Without the ring Bazett only says that it is interesting and keeps writing.

Bazett's order: Talk to him again. For today he asks you to search for giants on the Manuk field (wear something warm) and hands you his note, Bazett's Order. If you lose the note, talk to him again to get another. You receive Bazett's Order (11102).

The tent worker: On the Manuk field talk to the Worker (193,135). A pole of the tent is about to break, and he needs 30 Horns ofHillslion to make strong screws. Hunt Hillslions and bring him 30 Horns. Quest log 'Tendrilrion skin' (11105). Talk to the Worker first to take the request, then bring the horns.
