The witch in the palace: You need base level 60 and 40 Yaga's Pestles (they drop from theBaba-Yaga monsters). Carry them to Baba Yaga at (215,46) in the Moscovia palace and step up to her. Without both she warps you away to her dungeon. With both she loses her nerve and starts begging. Below level 60 the Pestles do not count.
Baba Yaga, the Horrible: -
A deal with Baba Yaga: Talk to Baba Yaga. She offers presents, then proposes to bewitch the country so winter never comes back, and she wants you to fetch the materials. Ask about the present, say you think she is lying, then agree to help. If you refuse, step away and talk to her again. Say 'Ok, I will.' at the last question. She then reads out her list of materials.

The list of materials: Bring Baba Yaga 20 Grasshopper's Legs, 5 Spawn, 20 Wings of Red Bat, 10 Witched Starsand, 10 Fine Grit, 1 Detonator, 5 Red Blood, 10 Burning Hearts and one 1, 2 or 3 carat Diamond. If you asked 'Are you sure?' when she read out the glue, she also wants 10 Sticky Mucus. Hand them all over in one go. She takes the whole set at once. If you answered 'A glue? You want me to kill you?!' instead, the Sticky Mucus is dropped from the list.

The gourd bottle: She now wants the magic gourd bottle from the dragon's lair. Go to the pile of skeletons at (225,233) in mosk_dun03 and look for it. Thieves find it at once; everyone else has about a 30 % chance per try. Do not fight the dragon. Choose 'Look for it.' again after each failed try. You get the Magic Gourd Bottle.

The bottle to Baba Yaga: Show Baba Yaga the Magic Gourd Bottle. She explains that it can catch people's words and that you need the voice of three people: a child, a young person and a middle-aged person. You must not push them to say it.

Three voices: In Moscovia talk to villagers and ask them about the weather. Each try has about a 30 % chance to catch the wish 'I do not want winter to come'. Catch one child, one young person and one middle-aged person; a type you already have is not needed again. Children: Yosefina (252,203), Vasili (255,203), Feliks (202,102), Rurik (228,80). Young: Fedor (233,204), Katya (204,188), Ilyav (220,172), Sabina (192,80), Izlof (211,215), Fredek (196,71). Middle-aged: Viktor (219,229), Roza (167,97), Orek (253,175), Kyra (168,135), Lev (149,112), Gavrel (234,168). Pick the one question each villager offers. If it does not work, try the same person again or another of the same group.
A Little Girl: -
The Csar is angry: People saw you with Baba Yaga. Go to the palace to the Csar at (131,92). He wants proof that you are not plotting: bring him 40 Yaga's Pestles again and he lets you go, as long as you banish winter and report back. The Prime Minister at (127,89) gives hints. Choose 'Explain the circumstances.', then 'Show the Yaga's Pestles.'. Your bag must not be nearly full.

Back to the witch: Take the Magic Gourd Bottle back to Baba Yaga. She tells you the last step is yours to do alone: she shows you a big book and says the magic only works if you mix the materials yourself. You must still carry the bottle.

The spell book: Read the large book at (217,45) next to Baba Yaga. Read from the preface, then from the marked page. The marked page holds the recipe.

The pot: At the pot at (221,43) follow the recipe in this exact order, one action each: Powder of Wing of Bat, Liquid of Spawn and Grasshopper's Leg (any order); pour water; stir 20 times; Witched Starsand and Fine Grit (any order); stir 15 times; then Red Blood, Detonator, Burning Heart, Piece of Diamond in that order. Then choose 'It is over!'. A wrong action or a wrong order spoils it: then talk to Baba Yaga, who lets you start again.

The secret medicine: Show Baba Yaga the finished potion. She is surprised you are good at this and gives you a magic bottle with her Secret Medicine. Reward: 1 Yaga's Secret Medicine.

Spring in the square: Go to the middle of Moscovia, the square at (224,190), and break the bottle there. The air gets hot at once.
- The Csar is pleased: Tell the Csar at (131,92) the winter is gone. He thanks you in the name of his people and gives you a gift. Reward: 1 Old Blue Box.
