Memorial dungeon
A fortress shaped like a rubbish heap, floating over a city it is slowly burying.
Prontera has been invaded by undead and nobody can stop the flow. A scientist called Doyeon has worked out where they come from: a huge flying fortress. She has gathered enough magic to open a warp into it, and she needs adventurers to destroy it. Inside, a golem with three minds, Stefan, Jack and Earnest, guards the fortress for a power called Bijou.
The map is called "Air Fortress" in the game, and the NPCs call it the Sky Fortress.
How to go
- Talk to Doyeon in Invaded Prontera (or use the Dimensional Rift one). You must be level 145 or more, and your weight must leave room for items.
- The leader opens the warp. The first time ever, Doyeon asks "Enter the Sky Fortress" and opens it for free. After that she wants a Dungeon Ticket (see below), unless the wait is over.
- Everyone steps into the Fortress Entry Warp Portal. A map announcement says which party member went in. You arrive at (54, 67) on the first floor.
Waits and tickets
- Entering through the Prontera portal sets the quest Attack Sky Fortress Invading Prontera. When you come back and talk to Doyeon, it is completed and a second one starts that lasts at least 3 days and ends at 04:00 server time.
- While that wait runs, Doyeon and the Prontera portal both turn you away unless you carry a 1 Hour Dungeon Ticket or a Dungeon Ticket. The ticket is checked, not taken: it is never removed.
- The very first time you finish, Doyeon gives you a 1 Hour Dungeon Ticket as a rental. It runs out 1 hour after you get it.
- The Dimensional Rift portal always needs a ticket, with no wait counting.
- The Dungeon Ticket cannot be obtained yet. Until it can, the free run comes back every 3 days.
First floor: Stefan wakes up
The first floor (Air Fortress, inside) has a fixed story path and eight wild zones.
- Walk toward (64, 67). A short scene plays, and the golem Stefan appears with 20,000,000 HP. He gives no experience and no drops. Hit him until his HP is below 19,000,000 (a million damage) or he dies. Then he groans, mutters "Guard...the Sky Fortress..." and leaves.
- Three waves of eight Immortal Zombie Soldier (405,694 HP each, no experience) appear around (48 to 63, 60 to 75). Clear a wave and the next one starts after a moment. The third wave also brings aSky Fortress Key Keeper at (56, 79).
- A last short scene: "Let's head to top!" Then the whole floor opens: the first pad at (73, 71) goes to (73, 84), the pad at (93, 77) goes to (210, 96) in the east half, and the pad at (190, 54) leads up to the top floor.
The wild zones
Eight hidden zones, four in the west half and four in the east half, spawn monsters when you step in: (65, 86), (62, 49), (57, 96), (32, 39), (209, 64), (144, 47), (178, 94), (179, 48). Each zone calls 3 or 4 of each type below, and has a 1 in 5 chance of a
Sky Fortress Key Keeper.
| Monster | Level | HP | Base EXP | Job EXP | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Immortal Fortress Legio | 160 | 405,694 | 15,464 | 12,888 | Vicious Mind dagger, saber, two-handed sword, spear, lance (0.2 % each) |
Immortal Zombie Assault | 160 | 405,694 | 15,464 | 12,888 | Vicious Mind book, katar, shuriken, axe, mace, knuckle (0.2 % each) |
Immortal Cursed Zombie | 160 | 405,694 | 15,464 | 12,888 | Vicious Mind staff, rod, revolver, wire, violin, bow (0.2 % each) |
Sky Fortress Key Keeper | 160 | 423,332 | 15,464 | 12,888 | Air Fortress Key every time |
The Key Keeper is the only way to get a key apart from the third wave of zombies. That gives one guaranteed key plus about 1.6 more from the zones (8 times 20 %).
The side rooms
Six pairs of warps stand on the first floor, at (34, 85), (83, 99), (24, 39), (206, 79), (147, 87) and (178, 51). They start dead. Click one and pick "Activate the warp" with a key in your bag: it takes the key and the warp turns into a black Activated Warp, one step away. Step into the Activated Warp beside it and you land in a secret chamber.
Where each warp leads changes every run: the game picks one of six fixed shuffles of the six rooms when the floor opens. The pad at the room's exit sends you back out through the warp that led there.
| Room | Wait for | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Four rooms | Step in and ten Immortal Nightmare Shado (two of the rooms) or ten Immortal Angry Shadow (the other two) spawn. Kill all of them | A Sky Fortress Gold Treasure appears at (66, 137), (116, 137), (116, 55) or (66, 55) |
| Cursed Knight room | Ten Immortal Death Shadow spawn when you step in. The treasure box at (16, 132) is ready at once | Open the box and the Immortal Cursed Knight appears 6 seconds later |
Wind Ghost room | Ten Immortal Death Shadow spawn when you step in. The test tube at (16, 54) is ready at once | Examine it and the Immortal Wind Ghost appears 6 seconds later |
Only the party leader can open the boxes and the test tube. The treasure boxes take 3 seconds and give one item:
| Roll | Item |
|---|---|
| 32 % | Elunium |
| 32 % | Oridecon |
| 20 % | Yggdrasil Seed |
| 10 % | Yggdrasil Berry |
| 5 % | Old Card Album |
| 1 % | Mystical Card Album |
The three bigger fights:
| Monster | Level | HP | Base EXP | Job EXP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Immortal Nightmare Shado | 160 | 423,330 | 14,059 | 13,590 |
Immortal Angry Shadow | 160 | 388,054 | 14,059 | 13,590 |
Immortal Death Shadow | 160 | 423,330 | 14,059 | 13,590 |
Immortal Cursed Knight | 160 | 10,000,000 | 47,986 | 46,416 |
Immortal Wind Ghost | 160 | 10,000,000 | 47,986 | 46,416 |
The Cursed Knight and the Wind Ghost each drop Elunium and Oridecon at about 32 %, Yggdrasil Seed at 20 %, Yggdrasil Berry at 10 % and Old Card Album at 5 %. The knight has a 0.01 % Immortal Cursed Knight Card and the ghost a 0.01 % Immortal Wind Ghost Card. The shadows drop Vicious Mind weapons at 0.3 %. Each room costs one key, so with 1 to 3 keys you will skip most of them.
The top floor: Stefan Jack Earnest Wolf
The pad at (190, 54) on the first floor ends at the top floor (103, 71). Walk to the middle (103, 115). The golem stands there as Stefan.J.E.Wolf, with ten
Immortal Zombie Soldier (area 84 to 124, 76 to 116) at his side. 30 seconds later five more
Cursed Soldier of Bijou come.
The boss: level 160, Undead, Undead element, 20,000,000 HP, MVP, 96,453 base and 109,040 job EXP. His lines use three voices: Stefan groans, Jack is scared, Earnest is angry.
| His HP | What changes |
|---|---|
| Above 14,000,000 | The golem and the first ten soldiers |
| 14,000,000 to 6,000,000 | He shouts "Get out..." and calls Immortal Zombie Soldier (three at a time, whenever fewer than 8 are alive, every 10 seconds) |
| 6,000,000 to 5,000,000 | A warning line: "Come, the Cursed Soldiers... Ground-shaking..." |
| Below 5,000,000 | The soldiers are removed. Cursed Soldier of Bijou come in pairs, about every 10 seconds, and kill zones start |
The kill zones. Below 5,000,000 HP, every few seconds the game picks a random pattern from 27 hidden squares on the floor (each about 13 tiles wide) and lights up a few with an earthquake effect and a 4-second bar. A player who touches a lit square dies on the spot, and the square hides again after 1 second.
When he dies, the golem says "Dead... I was... But I won't be dead..." and a warp opens at (104, 96). Every soldier on the floor is removed. The warp takes you out of the fortress to Invaded Prontera (244, 81), or to the Dimensional Rift (117, 69) if you came from there.
Boss drops
| Drop | Chance |
|---|---|
| Oridecon | 35 % |
| Elunium | 35 % |
| Yggdrasil Seed | 20 % |
| Yggdrasil Berry | 10 % |
| Juliette de Rachel | 0.01 % |
| Lindy Hop | 0.01 % |
| Sunflower Boy | 0.01 % |
| Stephane Jack Earnest Wolf Card | 0.01 % |
As the MVP he also gives three separate rolls: Old Blue Box 50 %, Old Purple Box 50 % and Old Card Album 20 %.
