Job Changer

Change to your next 1st, 2nd or 3rd job as soon as you have the official level, for a fee. Doing the job quest yourself stays free and pays a bonus pack and a family title.

Updated 4 October 2026job changejob questtitlesachievementsbattle manual
The job quest bonus counts from 5 October 2026: job changes made before that are not paid back.
The Job Changer stands in Prontera's indoor services hall, by the west wall . The hall's door is next to the arrival plaza .
It changes your job the moment you have the level the job quest asks for. It never gives a quest's own rewards. The official job quests stay in the game, free, and they pay extra: a bonus pack for every job tier and a title for your class family.

How it works

  1. Talk to the Job Changer and pick Change my job.
  2. It lists the jobs you can take next, each with its levels and price.
  3. Pick one and confirm. The fee is taken and your job changes at once.
Before it changes your job:
  • spend all your skill points, as for any job change;
  • get off your mount (
    Peco Peco
    or a mount costume);
  • any job quest you started ends, as it would at an official job NPC.

The 2nd job fee is the fee of the official Alchemist job quest; the 3rd job fee is the official rebirth price.
4th jobs are not for sale. Dragon Knight and the other 4th classes come from the Ascendant Gate, and Sky Emperor, Soul Ascetic, Shinkiro, Shiranui, Night Watch, Hyper Novice and Spirit Handler from their own job quests. The Quest Guide (@guide) shows each one.
Rebirth stays the official trip to Valhalla. After it, the Job Changer only offers the path you chose there (a reborn Knight can only become a Lord Knight again). Baby characters get the baby version of each job.

Job quest bonus

Do a 2nd, 3rd or 4th job quest yourself and you get that tier's bonus pack once per character, bound to you. It arrives at your next login or job level-up after the job change. If your bag is too full, it waits: make room and pick Collect my job quest bonus at the Job Changer.

The job quests also keep their own official rewards, such as the class hat and Green Apple Ring of the 3rd job quests and the Hourglass Necklace of the 4th. The Job Changer never gives those.

Compared with the official game

The official game has no job changer: everyone does the job quests. Ours only skips the walk, at the official levels, and never gives a quest's items. The bonus packs are official consumables that you can also get from attendance, shops and monsters, so the quest way saves you time without giving power.
