A crying boy: From base level 50, talk to Torpy at (107,67) in Hugel. His father has not been home for days; they were playing hide-and-seek. Tell him you will look for his parents. Pick 'What's wrong?', then 'Really? Tell me more...'. The other answers end the talk.
Torpy: -
The mother outside town: Find Torpy's mother in the field outside Hugel at (190,367). She has not vanished at all and has been searching the usual hunting grounds for her husband. She asks you to tell Torpy she is fine.
Torpy's Mom: -
Report to Torpy: Tell Torpy his mother is fine. He hopes his father will come back soon.

The barrel: Look for the Suspicious Barrel at (100,176) in Hugel. A weak voice inside begs for Steamed Crab Nippers; the man cannot cook for himself, so you must. The recipe: 10 Green Herbs, 1 Yellow Potion and 10 Nippers. Pick "I'll bring you Steamed Crab Nippers".
Suspicious Barrel: -
Feed the barrel: Bring a Steamed Crab Nippers to the barrel. Drop it in; a man pops out of the barrel and thanks you with his mouth full. The barrel's voice says you have to cook it yourself.

The hiding father: Talk to the man standing next to the barrel at (100,174). He is playing hide-and-seek with his son and made a silly promise: he will not leave until Torpy gives up. He hides in the barrel again.
Strange Man: -
Back to the mother: Tell Torpy's mother where her husband is hiding. She is shocked, then amused, and thanks you with a gift. You may also tell Torpy first. Torpy is happy to hear it, but telling his mother is what completes the quest. Reward: 3 Green Salad, base EXP 5,000.

The bet: Talk to Torpy once more. He explains the bet: if he won, his father owes him a girlfriend. The boy is thoughtful about it.
