Episode 19
Walk the route, touch every checkpoint.
The Iwin patrol guards the Frozen Scale area. You first walk it as a step of the Episode 19 story (after the story reaches the patrol step); afterwards the Captain sends you again once a day.
How to go
- Bring a party, even a party of 1: the Captain tells you to make one even if you go alone.
- The party leader talks to the Captain and picks Report the number of patrols. This creates the run.
- Every member then talks to the Captain and picks I will go on patrol.
- Keep your bag light: the Captain refuses to start while you carry too much.
The route
Follow the patrol members and touch all five checkpoints in order. Monsters from the area (
Shining Seaweed,
Ice Gangu,
Ice Straw) appear one at a time and a new one comes 5 seconds after each kill. There is no boss.
At the end talk to the Guardmaster (a patrol NPC inside the run). If you did not walk every checkpoint, you get no reward and the Captain says so: reaching the Guardmaster is not enough.
Rewards
Once a day, on the first completion:
- 2 Flower Petals, and 1 more if your Episode 19 reputation is 3,000 or higher
- 5 Episode 19 reputation points
- 52,243,795 base EXP and 3,000,000 job EXP
Later runs the same day can still be entered while the run is open, but they pay nothing. After the report you can go back to Ice Castle, or stay if there is still work to do.
All names in this run are listed in Issgard: who is who.
