Changelog

Every change that reaches the server, newest first. No hidden nerfs, no silent balance changes.

  1. 2026-10-04ze

Eden Group HQ at every Warper, fixes

    New

    • New: every Warper has a free "Eden Group HQ" entry that takes you to the Eden Group headquarters; the exit portal there brings you back to the town you came from.

    Fixes

    • Fix: Prontera's Point Merchant (tool shop) stood behind the crates with her back to you; she now stands in front of them.
    • Change: the login message and the Beta Test Hall sign now show the launch date, 1 February 2027.
  2. 2026-10-04zh

    Discord: suggestions, welcome message, rules

    New

    • New on Discord: a 💡・suggestions channel for your ideas, a welcome message for new members, and new members accept the server rules before they can chat.
  3. 2026-10-04zg

@go for everyone in the open beta

    New

    • New (open beta): @go <town> takes you to a town, for example @go 0 for Prontera; towns that open through a quest stay closed. It is for the beta only.
  4. 2026-10-04zf

    Launch date: 1 February 2027

    Changes

    • Change: launch date set: the open beta runs until the launch on 1 February 2027; characters are wiped at launch.
  5. 2026-10-04zd

No launch date yet, wiki Contents row

    Changes

    • Change: the website and Discord no longer show a launch date. The open beta runs until the server is ready; characters are still wiped at launch, and the launch date will be announced here first.
    • Wiki: the Contents box is now one compact row, so the page and its picture start on the first screen, and long map names on the /navi buttons are shorter.
  6. 2026-10-04zb

Market stalls, buying stores and fixes

    New

    • New: the market moves onto stalls. Player shops (vending, buying stores and @autotrade) open only on 153 numbered stalls, from the Market Square down the main avenue to the south gate. The Market Clerk at the north end of the market takes you to a free one: one stall per account, free.

    Fixes

    • Fix: buying stores could be opened anywhere in the world; they now follow the same rules as vending.
    • Fix: Prontera's Training Instructor (south-east) is closed for now: the browser client has no map files for his training grounds, so going in left you stuck on the loading screen, even after relogging.
    • Fix: Eden Group: Instructor Ur now sends you to Blacksmith Thorn for your training gear (he named a 'Blacksmith Michael' before).
    • Fix: 5 more NPC names were cut off (Sky Fortress treasure chests, Neoron's garden tree); they now show in full.
    • Fix: Louyang's "Poison King" quest now moves on in your quest window after Lord Bai Long's letter and closes when you finish it; before, the window stayed on the Lord Bai Long step forever (rewards were not affected).
  7. 2026-10-04zc

    Fair Play Pledge

    Changes

    • Changed: our pledge is now the Fair Play Pledge: "Fair play: every gear item sold for real money can also be earned in game." It replaces the "no pay-to-win" wording on the website, in the game's welcome message and on Discord. What is for sale today has not changed: Premium and costumes.
  8. 2026-10-04za

    Quest Guide fix

    Fixes

    • Fix: @guide and the Quest Guide by Prontera's library hung right after opening for characters below base level 100 (no chain list, no buttons); the chain list now opens.
  9. 2026-10-04z

Browser client: lost-connection cleanup, update notice, rates line

    Fixes

    • Fix: after a lost connection (for example a server restart), logging in again in the same tab kept old status icons (a "Sitting" icon while you stand) and old chat lines; they are now cleared.
    • Fix: the "new client version" notice now shows once per update instead of every 10 minutes.
    • Fix: on the Map of the Day the rates line in the chat said "EXP 5.5x" although you really get 7.5x there; it now says "EXP 5x (+50% EXP on this map)".
  10. 2026-10-04y

Map of the Day EXP fix

    Fixes

    • Fix: Payon Cave 1, Geffen Dungeon 1, Labyrinth Forest 1, Sograt Desert and Geffen Field 10 paid only 1 base and 1 job EXP per kill on the days they were not the Map of the Day. They now pay normal EXP (+50 % on their Map of the Day).
  11. 2026-10-04x

New 4th job quests, Premium Box, wardrobe and fixes

    New

    • New: Sky Emperor job quest. Star Emperors at base 200 / job 60 read the notice in Payon, do four good turns for Eunha (Veins, Einbech, the Morroc desert, Payon) and pass Heeun's test in the Celestial Branch Office (party instance, a party of one is fine). Reward: Sky Emperor + Hourglass Necklace.
    • New: Soul Ascetic job quest. Soul Reapers at base 200 / job 60 meet Banyak at Payon's inn and train with Jonchosa at the foot of Mt. Mumyeong (party instance, a party of one is fine). Reward: Soul Ascetic + Hourglass Necklace.
    • New: Night Watch job quest. Rebellions at base 200 / job 60 hear about the Night Watch from Anya in Einbroch and take Captain Volkova's exam at Clana Nemieri in Einbech (taken alone: target practice, then the shooting lanes). Reward: Night Watch + Hourglass Necklace.
    • New: Shinkiro / Shiranui job quest. Kagerou and Oboro at base 200 / job 60 meet Seoyeon in Amatsu, defeat 100 monsters on each of three Amatsu dungeon floors and accept Yeongwi's challenge in the inner world (taken alone). Reward: Shinkiro / Shiranui + Hourglass Necklace.
    • New: Hyper Novice job quest. Expanded Super Novices at base 200 / job 60 take Grape's challenge in Al De Baran: the Novice Club's memory (taken alone, once an hour): meet the club, walk through 8 memories, name every friend and answer three questions. Reward: Hyper Novice + Hourglass Necklace.
    • The Premium Token is now the Premium Box (same item, tradeable until opened). Opening asks first; with Premium running it shows the days left and adds 30. New: Premium Box 90 days (2,499 CP).
    • Wardrobe: 40 new wings and garments in the Cash Shop (10 a month, the first 10 now) + 7 headgear looks; a monthly Promotion tab (8-9 looks at 20 % off); Festival Merchant: 10 wings all year + seasonal looks in their month (October: Halloween Poring Bag); Monthly Costume Box: headgear in odd months (85 more looks), garments in even months.

    Changes

    • Events: the start message now says what to do and where (click the place to navigate), the 5-minute countdown repeats the place, and if you log in while an event is running you get the same message with the minutes left.
    • Fix: about 165 NPCs whose names were too long for the name plate now show a short name (for example the Soda Vending Machine).
    • Quest window: Hunting Hall deliveries and two Star Emperor steps now link to the right place; every Veil Muster shows a marker when an Echo report is due; Yeongwi's challenge counts your kill.

    Fixes

    • Fix: a party still bound to another job-quest instance is now told which one, instead of a wrong "already waiting".
    • Fix: shop and reward lists show items with a colon in their name correctly (before, the list shifted and could hand out the wrong item).
    • Juno Monster Society: the Assistants' soda teleport menu now shows the level each Map Examiner really asks for, so you no longer lose a soda on an examiner who turns you away.
    • Eden Group tutorial: the Siege expert's quiz now uses ArionRO's real War of Emperium times (server time, CET, 1 hour), the Battleground expert's badge answers are fixed (Tierra = Bravery, Flavius = Valor), and the tutorial NPCs now name the real NPCs (Mercenary Managers, Catalog Magician, Leablem, Captain Janssen, Mad Scientist, Friar Patrick).
    • Port Malaya: Pedro the Sailor's ferry to Izlude now docks at the Izlude pier instead of leaving you stuck in the sea.
    • Prontera Castle (Episode 16.1): the way into the prison no longer drops you inside a wall.
    • Gray Wolf village (Episode 18): the daily Collecting Folklore no longer gets stuck when Amira's story is the last one you hear.
    • Fix: Eden Group requests from Gelkah (Lv100-110) now pay their full job EXP: 740,000-1,260,000 (530,000-560,000 below Job Lv6). Until now they paid less, and far less below Job Lv6.
    • Fix: Eden Group: Administrator Michael's hat upgrade now opens after the third training step (Lv40), as intended; it opened one step early.
    • Fix: Eden Group: Blacksmith Thorn now gives Instructor Ur's training reward (weapon + Eden Group armor set) to Kagerou, Oboro, Rebellion, Star Emperor, Soul Reaper and Spirit Handler (and their newer jobs); before, they got nothing.
    • Fixed: on some newer maps monsters and players no longer stand inside walls, and the browser client no longer walks you into gaps the server refuses.
  12. 2026-10-04w

    Database icons

    Website

    • Website: the Database shows the game's own icon for about 5,700 more items, and its A-Z list starts with normal item names.
  13. 2026-10-04v

    Sunday War of Emperium

    War of Emperium

    • War of Emperium: the Sunday wars (02:00 and 13:00 server time) now start as scheduled; until now only the Saturday war ran. On the Sundays the clocks change, the 02:00 war still lasts one hour.
  14. 2026-10-04u

    Guides now open the Wiki

    Website

    • Website: the old Guides section now opens the matching Wiki page (the Wiki is kept up to date with the game).
  15. 2026-10-04t

    New website

    Website

    • Website: ro.arionword.com has its new look. The Database now lists only what exists in our game (names and icons as the game shows them), the Wiki is open, and the rates shown everywhere match the server: Base 5x / Job 5x / Drop 3x.
  16. 2026-10-04s

Browser client: quest window, window positions

    Browser client

    • Browser client: the Quest Information window shows only the rewards a quest really gives (Base EXP, Job EXP, items with their amount), and its description wraps instead of running off the right edge.
    • Browser client: windows remember where you put them, also after a reload. By default the quest windows open on the right, the quest details next to the quest list, and the Navigation window on the left.
  17. 2026-10-04r

Browser client: mailbox Delete All, NPC font size

    Browser client

    • Browser client: Delete All and Receive All in the mailbox work again (Delete All refused every mail with "Please claim all attachments", and Receive All skipped system mails such as attendance rewards).
    • Browser client: NPC lines with a font size (for example the Soda Vending Machine's warning) show at normal size instead of huge letters.
  18. 2026-10-03q

Browser client: NPC signboards, buff auras

    Browser client

    • Browser client: service NPCs (Kafra, Warper, Healer, Hunting Hall, Group Finder, shops ...) now carry a signboard with an icon and their name, like the official teleport officers.
    • Browser client: 4th-class buff auras (Breaking Limit, Rule Break, Intensive Aim, Temporary Communion and others) now disappear when the buff ends instead of glowing until you relog.
  19. 2026-10-03p

Star Emperor and Soul Reaper job quests, Map and Monster of the Day

    Job quests

    • New: Star Emperor job quest. TaeKwon Masters at base 99 / job 50 start with the Star Emperor Envoy in Payon and train at Master Chosi's school in the Meteor Forest beyond Mt. Mjolnir (Quest Guide: Become a Star Emperor).
    • New: Soul Reaper job quest. Soul Linkers at base 99 / job 50 help Banyak in Payon; it ends with the Soul Gate ritual (party instance, a party of one is fine).

    Map of the Day

    • Map of the Day: shorter line, shown once an hour at login (no repeats when you switch characters). New: Monster of the Day, one field monster a day with +50% EXP per kill (the level band changes daily); both lines and @motd link the map (click to navigate).
  20. 2026-10-03o

Browser client: Cash Shop, reload notice; beta start zeny

    Browser client

    • Browser client: the Cash Shop shows the ArionRO banner, its own title and an English Buy button; Charge stays hidden until payments open. The Refine window's Cancel button is in English, and the client no longer links to outside websites.
    • Browser client: when a new client version goes live, an open game tab now tells you to reload the page (F5); nothing reloads on its own.

    Beta

    • Beta: new characters start with 1,000,000 zeny.
  21. 2026-10-03n

Browser client: chat security, symbols, skill loops

    Browser client

    • Browser client: security fix for chat messages.
    • Browser client: Korean symbols in official NPC texts (▶, ※, ★ ...) now show correctly instead of ¢º / ¡Ø.
    • Browser client: the looping glow and sound of 4th-class ground skills (Hyunrok Breeze, Mission Bombard, Jack Frost Nova, Ground Gravitation and others) now end with the skill instead of playing until you relog.
  22. 2026-10-03m

Beta Hall v2, job change chains, Hunting Hall EXP

    Beta Test Hall

    • Beta Test Hall: new layout. Gear NPCs stand on the sand in pairs (each line's gear up to 3rd class next to its 4th class gear); every other NPC and the training dummies stand in one row around the edge of the sand. New characters and the Warper's and Kafra's Prontera trips arrive at the hall's west edge.

    Quest Guide

    • Quest Guide: the 13 official third job changes (Rune Knight to Shadow Chaser, Maestro and Wanderer) are now in @guide for second and transcendent jobs at base level 99 / job level 50, with wiki pages for each.
    • Quest Guide: the Expanded Super Novice (Super Novice, base level 99 / job level 99) and Spirit Handler (Summoner, base level 200 / job level 60, ends in the Deep Forest instance) job changes are now in @guide, with wiki pages.
    • Quest Guide: new chain 'Become a 4th class' for third classes (The Veil Chronicle, level 200 / job 70, the Ascendant Gate).
    • 4th job: baby 3rd classes are no longer turned into adult 4th classes at the Ascendant Gate (there is no baby 4th class); the Gate now tells them so.

    Hunting Hall

    • Hunting Hall contracts now also pay base and job EXP for your level (never more than the official Eden boards) on the first 10 hunts and missions each day.

    Items

    • Instance spoils, Sanctum/Trial drops, the Veil Artificer and the Festival Merchant no longer offer items that showed as 'Unknown Item'; each was replaced by official gear of the same level and role. Sara's Ashen Memory can now also drop Dragon Scale Boots.
    • Cash Shop: Costume Sparkling Sound (it never showed when worn) is replaced by Costume Eremes Scarf.
  23. 2026-10-03k

Try it on, War Board, Quest Guide rebirth

    Arion Coin Shop

    • New "Try it on" in the shop menu (or @acshop tryon in a town): wear the look of any of this week's headgear or garments for about 30 seconds. Nothing is bought or saved.

    Towns

    • New War Board by the castle gate in Prontera north (167, 324), or @war anywhere: whether the War of Emperium is on or when the next one starts (server time, CET), who holds each castle, and whether a battleground match is running.

    Quest Guide

    • Rebirth and all 13 transcendent job changes are now step-by-step chains in @guide, from the Juno library to the Hall of Honor.
  24. 2026-10-03j

    Quest Guide: second job changes

    Quest Guide

    • Every official second job change (all 17, incl. Star Gladiator, Soul Linker, Kagerou/Oboro and Rebellion) now has a step-by-step chain in @guide for your first class.
  25. 2026-10-03i

Quest Guide fix and first job changes

    Quest Guide

    • Fixed: following a chain no longer reports "Step done" by mistake after an update (the guide now remembers your step inside the chain).
    • New: while you are a Novice, @guide lists the first job changes (Swordman, Mage, Archer, Acolyte, Merchant, Thief, Taekwon Kid, Gunslinger, Ninja, Super Novice from base level 45) with the way to each guild; they disappear once you have a job.

    Browser client

    • Character select: the empty bar under the info panel is gone.
  26. 2026-10-03h

Mail, titles, status icons, Hunting Hall marks and Beta Hall layout

    Browser client

    • Mail: the Mail button opens your mailbox on the first click, and system mails such as the attendance reward show their real sender and text instead of codes.
    • Equipment, Title tab: it lists only the titles your character has earned, and picking one now sets it.
    • Status bar: Premium and server events (EXP x2, drops x2) show an icon with a tooltip and the time left.
    • Character select: the info panel shows the ArionRO logo.
    • The login rates line shows the Premium bonus correctly (+25% EXP; it said +125%).

    Hunting Hall

    • Bounties: each day pick today's normal mark (5 kills) OR a hard mark (3 kills of the next tier's target) for +50% Hunting Coins. One mark a day either way.
    • Treasure maps: 4 a week per account. During a Treasure Hunt, "Treasure map" on any Hunting Hall board or in @hunt marks one still-closed Strange Chest on the event field.

    Instances

    • Veilkeeper's Sanctum and The Sundering Trial: the weekly affixes (Resonant, Explosive, Enraged) now really work; before, they were only announced. The Mythic 15-minute enrage now really raises the boss's attack.

    Beta Test Hall

    • Every NPC and training dummy now stands on the sand training ground: the gear NPCs in three rows to the north, the hall sign and Free Buffs by the arrival point, the dummies in three rows to the south.

    Attendance

    • Day 28 gives the Monthly Costume Box: one random official costume (a look, no stats), bound to your account. With Premium, the second reward that day is 3 Battle Manuals.

    Towns

    • Healers in every town now look like a Sister instead of a Poring.

    Website

    • On phones the status strip shows only the open beta notice (the Register button was cut off).
  27. 2026-10-03g

Open beta: Beta Test Hall, towns, Warper and more

    Open beta

    • The open beta is running: register at https://ro.arionword.com/pre-register and play in your browser at https://play.arionword.com. Beta progress is wiped at launch; your account and reserved character name stay.
    • Beta Test Hall on the training ground in south-east Prontera (248,59): any job and level, all official gear and cards, free refines up to +20, buffs, resets, supplies, 23 training dummies with a damage meter, a private MVP room and a duel arena. Everything there is free and bound to your character. New characters start in the hall, and the Warper's Prontera trips land there during the beta.
    • Found a bug? Type @bug and what happened: the team gets it on Discord with your map and position.
    • Discord: react 🧪 in #beta-info for the Beta Tester role. In-game #main, #market and #party chat now also appears in Discord's in-game-chat, market and lfg channels.

    Towns

    • Every town: the Hunting Hall and the Veil Muster stand at the arrival point, next to the Kafra, Warper and Healer.
    • Prontera: the services hall now has the Stylist, Reset Girl, Festival Merchant, Sigil Collector, Vault Keeper, Veil Cartographer and Veil Archivist; the Reckless Refiner works inside the smithy.
    • Prontera's arrival point moved a few steps south (156,183), out from behind the banner.
    • New characters get a first-login line pointing to @guide.

    Warper

    • Rebuilt menu: places sorted A-Z, up to 5 Favorites, and Again for your last trip.
    • Dungeons open per account once one of your characters has visited them. Veil Chronicle steps from Lv 99 also open Thor's Volcano, Lasagna Dungeon and the Verus Expedition Camp.
    • Above base level 100 a paid trip costs 10 zeny more per level (Lv 150: +500 z); the greeting shows your surcharge. Premium trips stay free.

    Group finder

    • A party leader can queue the whole party (2 to 11 players): the party is matched as one and never split.

    Quests

    • Echoes of the Veil: side stories from the Veil Muster, one per 12-player band after its first clear. All seven earn the title Echoes Remembered.
    • Static in the Sands, Where the Falls Hum and The Doram Warning are now about finding things instead of hunting; rewards unchanged.
    • The Veil Chronicle's closing lines lead into the official episodes, and @guide now walks 8 more official chains: Brasilis, Dewata, Malangdo, Mora, Eclage, The Royal Banquet, Terra Gloria and The Rebellion.
    • Veil Artificer: the Veil Essence patterns open with the Veil Chronicle (I after The Threshold, II after Heat Beneath the Veil, III after The Awakening). New recipe: 50 Elunium or Oridecon + 1 Veil Essence I + 25,000 z = 1 Enriched ore.
    • Fixed: the map links of Heat Beneath the Veil and The Doram Warning.

    Instances

    • The Serpent's Nest final chest can now hold a Soul Expansion Ring (15%).

    Staff notices

    • Staff notices and maintenance countdowns now appear on screen, with warnings at 30, 15, 10, 5 and 1 minutes.

    Fixes

    • Premium Pass and Premium Token show your real new expiry date (it said 1970) and give the Patron title right away.
    • Attendance calendar: a different official item every day (Battle Manuals, Bubble Gum, Life Insurance, Convex Mirror, potions, wings), bigger on days 7, 14 and 21 and a costume on day 28, all bound to your account; the calendar no longer pays Hunting Coins (Premium still gets every day's reward twice).
    • Korean Rice Cake shows its real effect (20% of MaxHP) instead of an old event text, and the Founder's Supply Box lists what it really holds.
  28. 2026-10-03f

    Arion Coin Shop

    Arion Coin Shop

    • The new Arion Coin Shop replaces the Arion Quartermaster. Find it in the services hall in Prontera (door at Prontera 133,183), or type @acshop in any main town.
    • It sells about 670 official headgear, garments, shoes and accessories that no monster, quest or other shop offers, in five tabs: Headgear (top), Headgear (face), Garments, Shoes, Accessories.
    • Prices run from 5 to 60 Arion Coins by the item's equip level and strength, paid with the Arion Coins your character carries. Bought items keep their official trade rules.
    • Weekly rotation: each week shows two class lines, everything returns every four weeks (Swordman + Merchant, Mage + Acolyte, Archer + Thief, then Taekwon, Ninja, Gunslinger, Doram and Super Novice). The week changes on Monday at 00:00 server time (CET).
    • In the browser client the shop is one window with a tab per category and shows how many Arion Coins you carry.
    • The Coin Exchange moved into the services hall next to the Arion Coin Shop, and the Refine Supplier moved inside the Prontera smithy.

    Browser client

    • Quest guides and Hunting Hall contracts that start navigation now open the Navigation window with the route.
    • Using an item you can't use yet (level or class) now tells you so in the chat.
  29. 2026-10-03e

Browser client fixes: quest window and navigation

    Quests

    • The quest window's Active tab now lists your quests (it stayed empty before).
    • Quest details show the reward items with their names and amounts.

    Navigation

    • Navigation to another map now finds a route (for example a quest link to a field from Prontera).

    Windows and messages

    • The skill window opens on the full skill tree.
    • Fewer login messages: settings such as autofeed, equipment window and party invitations only print when you change them.
    • Fixed the attendance calendar showing wrong rewards for some players. After this update your browser downloads the game files once more (one time only), so the first login takes a little longer.
  30. 2026-10-03d

    Game chat on Discord

    New

    • New: Game chat on Discord. Messages in the #main, #market and #party channels now also appear in the Game chat channels on our Discord, under your character's name. Read-only there for now; replying from Discord comes with account linking.
  31. 2026-10-03c

12-player instances, group finder, events and more

    New

    • New: 12-player Veil instances, seven level bands: The Drowned Culvert (Lv1-30, 3-12 players), Clockwork Nightmare (50-99), Echoes of Glast Heim (100-125), The Serpent's Nest (126-150), Sara's Ashen Memory (151-175), Infinite Veil (176-200) and Twilight of the Veil (201-250). Start at the Veil Muster on Prontera's north road; one rewarded clear per band each week; Heroic for 3rd classes, Mythic in the two highest bands.
    • New: Group finder. Type @finder or pick Group finder at any Veil Muster (one stands by every town's Hunting Hall): it matches roles, runs a ready check, forms the party and opens the instance. Finder clears pay bonus Hunting Coins.
    • New: Quest Guide. Type @guide or visit the Quest Guide in Prontera for the next step of your story.
    • New: Rotating events at 15:00, 22:00 and 05:00 server time (CET): Invasion, Treasure Hunt and Veil Rift, paying Festival Tokens (60 a week per account), spent at the Festival Merchant by Prontera's east inn.
    • New: Sigil Collector (Prontera north road): trade World Boss Sigils for titles and looks.
    • New: Refine Supplier by the Prontera smithy (Enriched and HD ores, Blacksmith Blessing for Arion Coins, weekly limits) and refine materials at the Veil Artificer in Einbroch. Mythic clears have a 10% chance of a Blacksmith Blessing.
    • New: Shadow Cache, a box with one random shadow piece: from a Veil Chronicle step, the 5th Hunting Hall bounty mark each week, and 12-player weekly clears.
    • New: Hunting Hall: Cancel a contract at any board, and @hunt shows your work anywhere.
    • New: Warper Instances menu: the entrance of every official instance you have entered before.
    • New: achievements for attendance, world boss rounds, 12-player clears and the group finder.

    Changes

    • Changed: Card drop rates are now 3x like every other drop, MVP cards included.
    • Changed: Veilkeeper's Sanctum is now for Lv100-135 and The Sundering Trial for Lv126-160 (Normal and Heroic); Mythic is a solo mode for 4th classes with 2 rewarded clears a day per account, shared by both.
    • Changed: Leveling is slower: Lv1-98 takes about 20 hours of hunting, Lv99-150 needs three times the official EXP. Lv151+ and job EXP are unchanged.
    • Changed: Prontera layout: Kafra, Warper and Healer stay at the arrival point; our other NPCs moved to fitting buildings around town.
    • Changed: In every other town the Hunting Hall and its Veil Muster moved to the inn or pub.
    • Changed: Achievements that paid Arion Coins now pay Hunting Coins (500 / 1,000 / 1,500).
    • Changed: the Starter Box gives 40 Korean Rice Cakes instead of Starter Potions; the starter weapon arrives when you reach its level.
    • Changed: the Reset Girl (Prontera church) is free with Premium.
    • Removed: the Veilforge. Veil Essence now goes to the Veil Artificer.

    Fixes

    • Fixed: Heroic and Mythic Sanctum/Trial runs played and paid as Normal; the bosses now scale and enrage as intended.
    • Fixed: two server crashes in the Sanctum and Trial.

    New browser client, English everywhere

    Game client (browser)

    • The browser game client is updated to a newer version with many fixes from the client's developers.
    • Buttons, windows and messages that showed Russian or Korean text are now in English.
    • After this update your browser downloads the game files once more (one time only), so the first login takes a little longer.

    Attendance

    • The Attendance Check window opens at login while today's reward is unclaimed, shows this month's rewards with their icons, and the Attendance button in the menu opens it again.

    Quests

    • The quest window now lists your active quests with their names (no more "Unknown Quest" for ArionRO quests).
    • Clicking a quest in the on-screen quest tracker opens its details.

    Other

    • The login message shows the server rates in one line: EXP 5x, Drop 3x, death penalty 1% (Premium 0%).
    • Background music starts at 2% volume for new players; your saved setting is kept.
    • The empty "Reputation Status" button is removed from the menu (this server has no reputation system).

    Black screen after login fixed

    Fixes

    • Browser players got a black screen after logging in today from 19:51 to 21:40 server time (17:51-19:40 UTC). This is fixed: reload the page (F5) once and log in again.
    • The Attendance Check window is switched off in the browser game for now and returns with the next game client update.

    Fewer invisible walls in towns

    Maps

    • Fixed ground that looked walkable but stopped you (and a few spots the other way round): the server now uses exactly the same map data as your game. This covers the Prontera central plaza, Lighthalzen, Einbroch, Izlude, Alberta, Hugel, Aldebaran, Comodo, Juno and about 50 more maps.
    • The Izlude inn and academy rooms are not part of this fix yet; they follow with the next game data update.

Autostore, global chat channels and server time

    Premium

    • @autostore: when your bag is over 80% weight, loot moves to your storage by itself. Consumables, quest items and anything you lock stay with you: @lock, @unlock and @locklist in game, or Account, Item lock on the website.
    • Premium players can post in #main without waiting, and in #market and #party every minute.

    Chat

    • Three global channels for everyone: #main, #market and #party. You join them automatically and can leave any of them.
    • To keep them readable, free players can post every 10 minutes in #main and #party and once an hour in #market.
    • To talk in a channel, whisper to #main, #market or #party.

    Server time

    • Server time is now Central European Time (CET, CEST in summer). The website clock shows it, with your own time in the tooltip.
    • War of Emperium keeps the same real-world times: Saturday 20:00-21:00 and Sunday 02:00-03:00 CET, plus a new Sunday 13:00 CET session for players in Asia.

    Towns and quests

    • The Hunting Hall replaces the three hunting boards: hunt contracts, missions, deliveries and daily bounties, tracked in your quest log.
    • Daily login rewards now use the official Attendance window, with double rewards for Premium.
    • A Kafra, a healer and the Hunting Hall now stand near each town's arrival point, and the healer has a short cooldown.
    • The Warper is rebuilt and stands near each town's arrival point: talk to it once in a town to unlock that town for your whole account; dungeons are grouped by level (quest-locked dungeons appear after their official quest), plus the PvP arena. Cities 1,200 zeny, dungeons 1,800-3,000 zeny; free for Premium players.
    • Fly Wing has a 1-second delay between uses.
    • Vending is only possible in the Prontera Market Square.
  37. Premium

Premium arrives: what changes for everyone

    What changes today

    • @autoloot becomes a Premium feature, for items up to a 10% drop chance; everyone else picks up loot by hand, as on official servers. @alootid and @autoloottype are removed.
    • From 2 October 2026, dying costs free players 1% base and job EXP, as on official servers; Premium players lose nothing.
    • Premium items arrive identified, and opening storage identifies what is inside.
    • Every official map, quest, dungeon and drop stays open to everyone; Premium adds convenience, never power (see the No Pay-to-Win Pledge).

    • Every season reward is cosmetic and Arion Coin only, account bound and kept forever. No pay to win, ever.

Seasons 2 and 3 are built and scheduled

    • Season 2: The Faction War brings contested Rift Fronts where the Resonant Guild and the Seekers fight for every rift, alongside Chapter V.
    • Season 3: The Awakening climaxes the saga with the Sundering Raid, Chapter VI, and the story gated 4th job awakening.

  39. Season 1

    Season 1: The Widening Rift

    Veil Rifts open across Midgard

    • Roaming public events: a Veil Rift tears open on the fields, spawns a swarm, then a Rift Keeper. Seal it for season points and Arion Coin.

Chapter IV and the season ladder

    • Chapter IV: The Widening Rift continues the story, faction-branched for the Resonant Guild and the Seekers, and tied to sealing a rift.
    • A new /season page shows the live ladder, the countdown to season's end, and the cosmetic reward track.
