A living world that grows to 4th jobs
Most private servers ship a frozen world, add a pay-to-win cash shop, and watch the population drain in four months. ArionRO is built the opposite way: a fresh Renewal server grounded in original lore, where nothing is sold that you cannot earn in game, and the world unlocks as the community earns it.

Fair play. Money buys time, never anything you can't earn.
This is the one promise that, if broken, kills a server. So we are being explicit about exactly what is and is not for sale.

Arion Coins
Earned in-game, never sold. Spent in the Arion Coin Shop and on Artisan Crafting. No exceptions.

The story is the spine. Not a side quest.
ArionRO sits inside Arion, an original fictional universe with its own factions, history, and unanswered questions. The world map is not a skin over the classic Ragnarok atlas. It is Midgard reimagined through the Arion canon.
Story chapters drive which content opens. The Veil is the world-spanning event that governs progression: as the community advances the questline, new zones, bosses, and job tiers become available. You are not playing around the story while waiting for a content drop. The story is the content drop.

No download. No patcher. Press play.
The full Renewal client runs in WebGL, directly in your browser. Open a tab and you are in Midgard. No multi-gigabyte download, no patcher waiting on your slow connection, no administrator prompt mid-install. A desktop client for players who want full visual fidelity is coming soon.
A plan for the long game, stated plainly.
Private servers fail for two reasons: they die to pay-to-win (covered above) or they run out of things to do. ArionRO addresses the second problem with a seasonal content cadence tied to the story. Every few months, a new chapter opens with fresh instances, zones, and class content.
- 01
Seasonal story chapters
New content tied to narrative beats, not arbitrary time gates. The chapter tells you what opens next.
- 02
Web portal connected to the game
Market, rankings, changelog, and progress tracker all live at this site and talk directly to the game server.
- 03
Public changelog
Every patch logged publicly at /changelog. No hidden nerfs, no silent balance changes. You can see exactly what changed and when.
- 04
Faction politics and long arcs
The Veil questline runs across all four chapters. Faction choices you make in Chapter I carry forward. The world accumulates.
Note: these are design commitments, not launch-day promises. Chapter content ships in sequence as the team completes it. The portal features listed above are in active development. You can track what is live on the status page.

The first chapter is almost ready.
