The Steel Vigilante: Talk to the Steel Vigilante in Rockridge (the north one of the two standing together). Say you are a tourist, then 'Alright, let me hear it.'. 'No, thanks.' ends the talk.
Steel Vigilante: -
Daily: a hunt for the town: Talk to him again. He gives you one hunt at random: 15 Buffalo Bandit Sharpshooters, 15 Buffalo Bandit Duelists, 15 Bowie Buffalo Bandits or 20 Coyotes in Kiwawa Desert, or 10 Swamp Arclouzes or 10 Brown Rats in the Underground Waterway.
-
Daily: finish the hunt: Defeat the monsters he named, then go back to him. Opens again at 04:00 server time (CET/CEST) after you hand it in. Reward: 2 Rock Ridge Coin and 6,810 to 37,040 base EXP, 7,230 to 35,140 job EXP (Coyotes pay the most, Brown Rats the least).
-
Daily: tough jobs from Level 140: From Level 140, the second Steel Vigilante right next to him has harder work: say 'Sure, why not?' and he picks one hunt, 10 Elite Buffalo Bandits of one kind or 10 Gasters, all in the Rockridge Mine. Defeat them and go back to him. This one has its own daily reset, so you can do both. Opens again at 04:00 server time (CET/CEST) after you hand it in. Reward: 3 Rock Ridge Coin and 50,800 to 95,970 base EXP; job EXP 47,160 to 90,930, but none for one of the Elite Buffalo Bandit hunts.
