The Part-Time Job for Rekenber (Lighthalzen) is an official episode chain for levels 70-200 in 21 steps. It starts at Old Man. @guide shows your next step in game.

Walkthrough

  1. An old man in the street: Talk to the Old Man at (141,162) in Lighthalzen. He says Kazien is short of workers and tells you to look for him in the Rekenber building.
    Old Man:
  2. Looking for a part-timer: Find Kazien at (174,258) in the Rekenber building (lhz_in01). Offer your help for a reward. Below base level 70 he turns you away. Promise to keep what you learn secret. If you say you love giving away secrets he will not hire you; talk to him again to retry.
    Young Man:
  3. The trial assignment: Talk to Kazien again. As a trial, go to the Einbroch Laboratory, find a researcher called Garins and confirm that his order arrived. Tell nobody about the errand.
  4. The laboratory guard: Go to the guard at the Einbroch Laboratory at (55,52). When he asks, do not say you want to see Garins: leave with Whoa, I'm leaving, or I'll come back later. Naming Garins fails the trial. If you name Garins, Kazien says you failed and the job quest is wiped. You start again from the Old Man.
    Laboratory Guard:
  5. Back to Kazien: Tell Kazien you could not get in. He laughs: Garins never existed and the guard test was the point. You passed.
  6. The first real job: Talk to Kazien again. He sends you to the Airship for international flights to meet his courier Lyozien, and tells you to talk to nobody else about the job.
  7. Lyozien on the Airship: Board the international Airship from Lighthalzen and find Lyozien at (96,48) on airplane_01, walking carefully among the packages. He says Kazien is his brother and asks you to tell Ahman in Izlude that the packages have arrived.
    Man:
  8. Ahman in Izlude: Take the Airship to Izlude and talk to Ahman near the airport at (172,73). He thanks you and asks nothing more.
    Scamp:
  9. What is in the boxes: Go back to Lyozien. Ask what you are delivering: he does not know either. He suggests asking his brother for more work.
  10. Another delivery: Report to Kazien. He pays you and gives the next job: the same route, another package for Rune-Midgarts. He will not say what is inside the boxes. Reward: base EXP 400,000 (40,000 on the renewal EXP table).
  11. Another run: Talk to Lyozien on the Airship. He tells you about the next package for Rune-Midgarts, then gangsters appear near the packages.
  12. Thugs on the Airship: Defeat the two gangsters near the packages, then talk to Lyozien. He thanks you and explains that gangsters want the packages destroyed. If you wait more than two minutes without finishing, the fight resets and fresh gangsters appear. Targets: 2
    Gangster .
  13. Ahman again: At Izlude, tell Ahman that the packages arrived and that thugs attacked again.
  14. Report to Lyozien: Return to Lyozien on the Airship and tell him the packages arrived. He sends you back to his brother.
  15. Kazien asks nothing: Talk to Kazien. He still will not tell you what you are carrying and sends you to the Airship for the next delivery. Reward: base EXP 450,000 (45,000 on the renewal EXP table).
  16. Lyozien trusts his brother: Talk to Lyozien. He is a little upset you questioned his brother, but trusts him.
  17. The third delivery: Talk to Lyozien to start the next run. Three gangsters attack at once.
  18. A potion: Defeat the three gangsters, then look at the torn wrapping of one package at (99,47) by walking onto it: you see weapons of mass destruction and parts of guardians. Talk to Lyozien: he cannot say what is inside and gives you a White Potion. Targets: 3
Gangster . Reward: 1 White Potion.
  19. Ahman, the last time: At Izlude, tell Ahman that the packages arrived. He tells you to rest.
  20. You quit: Return to Kazien in the Rekenber building and confront him about what you saw. He explains he does it to protect his brother and cannot hire you any more. Ask about hi-tech weapons and guardians. After this he only asks you to leave him alone. Reward: base EXP 550,000 (55,000 on the renewal EXP table).
  21. Memories (optional): Walk onto either of two hidden cells in the Rekenber building, at (187,247) or (75,248), and you hear Kazien's words again. This changes nothing else.
