Walkthrough

  1. A nurse with sore feet: A new nurse named Las stands outside the closed hospital in Port Malaya and asks you to help her get inside. Bring her 2 Rotten Bandages for her blistered feet.
    Nurse:
  2. The door will not budge: Push the hospital door together with the nurse. It is not locked, but something holds it shut.
    Hospital Door:
  3. Ask the townsfolk: Las contacts her head office and sends you to ask the villagers about the hospital. Start with the young woman nearby.
  4. The village woman: Ask the village woman about the hospital and about a new nurse. She only knows it has been closed for a long time.
    Village Woman:
  5. Another try: Report to Las. The head office confirms her post, so she sends you to a man by the pineapple fields.
  6. The village man: Ask the village man about the hospital and the nurse. He is glad she has arrived and asks you to bring her to the inn in the middle of town, where the doctor stays.
    Village Man:
  7. Go to the inn for her: Tell Las about the inn. Her feet hurt too much to walk, so she asks you to go instead.
  8. Dr. Boon at the inn: Explain the mix-up to Dr. Boon. He treats patients at the inn and gives you the hospital key with the message that Las should decide on her own.
    Dr. Boon:
  9. The key: Give Las the key and the doctor's message. She wants to open the hospital door at once.
  10. The unlocked door: Try the key in the hospital door. It was not locked at all, and the door still will not open.
  11. A voice in the bushes: Las is baffled that the door was never locked. A child hiding in the bushes at the entrance teases you. Go to the bushes and ask about the old woman next door.
Bushes:
  1. The strange sticks: An old woman planted sticks around the hospital. Pull them out of the ground; it can take several tries. A successful pull gives a Lesser Agimat, and sooner or later you get a talisman to show Las. Reward: Lesser Agimat (1 per stick pulled out).
Suspicious Wooden Stick:
  1. Visit the old lady: Show Las the talisman. She asks you to visit the old woman who lives on the west side of town.
  2. The bent old lady: The old woman is hard of hearing. Shout your question: she says the hospital is cursed and took her daughter. Then show her the stick. She panics, since the sticks kept the evil in, and fears for Las.
Bent Old Lady:
  1. Into the hospital: Go back to Las. She managed to open the first-floor door while you were away, so enter the hospital together. The way to the second floor is blocked.
  2. Monsters on the first floor: Inside the hospital, monsters roam the first floor, just as the old woman said. Talk to Las again to look for another way up.
Nurse:
  1. A talisman on the second-floor door: Find a talisman like the ones outside, stuck on the door to the second floor.
Suspicious Wooden Stick:
  1. The second-floor entrance: Talk to the nurse who stands guard at the second-floor entrance. She does not let you through yet. Return to Las.
Nurse Maenne:
  1. Ask the old lady about talismans: Tell Las about the talisman. She did not like the look of it and suggests the old woman may know where the talismans came from.
  2. The talisman maker: The old woman says she had the talismans made by a skilled shaman in the north of the village.
  3. The shaman: The bent shaman in the north needs no payment. She hands over a new talisman and calls it the village's karma.
Bent Shaman:
  1. Las's idea: Show Las the talisman. She suggests sticking it over the one on the second-floor door.
  2. Cover the talisman: Stick the new talisman over the old one on the second-floor door. The dark feeling lifts, and Las shows her true self: she is the Bangungot in disguise and throws you out.
  3. The real nurse: Outside, the real nurse Maenne scolds you. She is an exorcist for haunted hospitals, and the Bangungot is a cursed spirit that killed the patients and turned them into monsters. She rewards your help and offers to open the way to the second floor. Reward: base EXP (1,000,000), Ancient Grudge (3; 5 with Premium), Lesser Agimat (5; 10 with Premium), Old Violet Box.
  4. Defeat the Bangungot: Enter the second floor with a party through Nurse Maenne at the second-floor entrance and defeat the Bangungot in the hospital. Entering the second floor takes a party and has a cooldown. Targets: 1
