The Veil has flooded the culvert under Prontera, and everything that lived in it has come up for air. A good first look at how the Veil instances work, with a party of as few as three.
How a Veil instance works: the party leader forms the run at the Veil Muster, members enter there, monsters grow with the party, the fallen are raised after 60 seconds (except before the final boss), and every boss leaves a Veil Spoils chest where each player picks Need, Greed or Pass. The whole run plays in one flooded hall.
The four waves
- Drowned Thief Bug,Drowned Tarou,Drowned Familiar.
- Drowned Spore,Drowned Poison Spore,Drowned Female Bug.
- Drowned Male Bug,Drowned Plankton and the mid-bossCulvert Eggring. At half health it calls more of the culvert's creatures.
- King of the Culvert.
- At half health it calls spores and thief bugs.
- At 20 % health it enrages (35 % with the Enraged affix).
- Every 30 seconds it spits venom at a random player: 2.5 seconds later a pool bursts where they stood, for 30 % of max HP to everyone within 3 cells. Step out and keep apart. It never kills on its own.
