When a band breaks a Veil instance, a small piece of it follows the players out and lingers at the real place the instance remembers. Each story has three steps in your quest log:
- Find the echo: the Veil Muster tells you where it lingers (the place is a link in the dialog).
- Remember: the echo asks one question about the instance you cleared, then asks for an offering that NPC shops sell.
- Report: tell any Veil Muster. The echo is at rest and you get your reward.
A wrong answer costs nothing: talk to the echo again when you remember.
- The Drowned Culvert (Lv1-30): the echo waits at the culvert mouth on Prontera Field 05. Offering: 3 Green Potion. Reward: 5,000 base / 4,000 job EXP, 10 Red Potion, 20 Hunting Coins.
- Clockwork Nightmare (Lv50-99): by the Horror Toy Factory door in Lutie. Offering: 3 Milk. Reward: 75,000 base / 55,000 job EXP, 10 White Potion, 30 Hunting Coins.
- Echoes of Glast Heim (Lv100-125): at the old gate of Glast Heim. Offering: 2 Blue Gemstone. Reward: 750,000 base / 550,000 job EXP, 5 Blue Potion, 50 Hunting Coins.
- The Serpent's Nest (Lv126-150): by the gate of Nidhoggur's Nest. Offering: 3 Empty Bottle. Reward: 3,500,000 base / 2,500,000 job EXP, 1 Yggdrasil Berry, 60 Hunting Coins.
- Sara's Ashen Memory (Lv151-175): by the Dimensional Device in Dali. Offering: 5 Bag of Grain. Reward: 8,500,000 base / 6,000,000 job EXP, 2 Yggdrasil Berry, 80 Hunting Coins.
- Infinite Veil (Lv176-200): at the Infinite Space entrance on the Comodo field. Offering: 1 Magnifier. Reward: 20,000,000 base / 13,500,000 job EXP, 2 Yggdrasil Berry, 100 Hunting Coins.
- Twilight of the Veil (Lv201-250): in Niflheim. Offering: 3 Yellow Gemstone. Reward: 30,000,000 base / 20,000,000 job EXP, 3 Yggdrasil Berry, 120 Hunting Coins.
Lay all seven to rest for the achievement Echoes Remembered and its title. Hunting Coins count toward the daily limit of 1,500 per account.
