Wolfchev's Laboratory is the endgame instance inside the Rekenber Corporation slum district of Lighthalzen. The mad scientist Wolfchev has been running illegal human experimentation, turning prisoners into monsters. You fight through his lab, defeat twelve Bioethics boss creatures, and confront Wolfchev himself.
💡This is a 3rd-class endgame instance. You need to complete the Lighthalzen slum quest chain first (lhz_curse must be above 30). The twelve boss creatures are the heart of the fight.
Requirements
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Pre-quest | Complete the Lighthalzen bio lab quests (lhz_curse > 30); meet Giacomo Girolamo in Lighthalzen |
| Party | Must be in a party |
| Cooldown | 4-hour cooldown (quest 5112) |
| Time Limit | 4 hours |
Talk to Giacomo Girolamo in Lighthalzen to start the instance chain.
Giacomo stands near the slum area of Lighthalzen. He tells you about Wolfchev and the human experimentation. You need to have done enough of the Lighthalzen bio lab content for lhz_curse to be above 30. Once he recognizes you as trustworthy he will send you toward the laboratory.
Enter the instance through the Lighthalzen Dungeon.
After completing the quest chain the instance is created from within the Lighthalzen dungeon area. The party leader creates the instance. The entrance warps you to 1@lhz at (45/148).
Inside the lab: survive waves of human guinea pigs.
The laboratory is full of Wolfchev's experimental creatures. Multiple waves of Starving Lab Animals (monster IDs 2242 and 2243) spawn across the map. You must clear each room before the path to the next opens. The waves escalate in size as you go deeper.
The key mechanic is that the twelve boss creatures (the Bio Lab bosses) are sleeping and wake up one at a time. You do not face them all at once.
Fight the twelve Bio Lab bosses in sequence.
The twelve bosses are legendary named creatures from the Bio Lab world. They appear in the inner chamber of Wolfchev's lab. Each one is fought individually and then the next one wakes up.

âš ï¸The bosses do not wait politely. Wolfchev says "Good news is that boss creatures are not set up to wake up all at once, even though slaves are." -- but each one comes with a wave of lab animals. Stay grouped and prioritize the add waves.Collect the rare gear rewards from the treasure drop.
After all twelve bosses are defeated, the loot table for completion includes rare equipment from the Wolfchev lab drop pool.
Salvage Cape -- randomly selected from the completion reward poolAncient Gold Ornament -- mid-tier headgear rewardGigantic Lance -- heavy weapon dropChills Of Death or Blood Thirst or Warrior's Will -- enchanting scrolls (10 or 20 per drop)Notes
- Bosses are the same as the Bio Lab field MVPs but confined to the instance with fixed spawn order. Cards from the Bio Lab drop from these instance versions too.
- You must have done the Lighthalzen slum story. The lhz_curse flag gates everything. There is no shortcut.
- 4-hour cooldown. Shorter than Nidhoggur but still significant. Plan around it.
- This is 3rd-class content. Bring a full party with a tank, healer, and ranged DPS for each boss sequence.
