The Sealed Shrine is a two-floor dungeon beneath the St. Capitolina Monastery. Baphomet, the Great Demon, was sealed there long ago. He is waking up. Your party goes in to re-seal him before he breaks free. The instance has a 12-hour cooldown and requires at least 2 players at Base Level 75 or higher.

Go to the St. Capitolina Monastery and talk to Friar Patrick.
The monastery is in the Prontera Fields (map: monk_test). Friar Patrick stands near the main gravestone at the entrance. Talk to him and choose "I want to enter." He will confirm your party and open the instance.
The party leader must talk to him. He checks that your party has at least 2 members all at level 75 or above. If your party is short he refuses entry.
Cross to the Grave of Baphomet and enter.
After Friar Patrick opens the instance, walk a few tiles to the stone grave. Talk to it to actually step inside. All party members can enter through the grave individually.
âš ï¸Once you enter, Baphomet's Curse is placed on your character. You cannot leave and re-enter during the same instance run. If you die and respawn outside you are locked out until the curse expires (about 12 hours).Explore Floor 1 -- find the Soul Pendant and gather Tokens of Apostle.
The first floor is a single catacomb map (1@cata). When you enter, any Tokens of Apostle (id 6002) you are carrying are stripped. You will need to earn new ones here.
Finding the Soul Pendant. Thirteen Gravestones are scattered across the catacomb. One of them (chosen randomly each run) contains the Soul Pendant (id 6003). Search the Gravestones until you find the right one -- it glows and gives you the pendant when you touch it. Bring the pendant to the talking Gravestone at the north end of the map. The Gravestone belongs to an ancient hero who sealed Baphomet long ago. The party leader hands over the pendant and the hero's soul takes shape.
Getting Tokens of Apostle. The Ancient Hero's Soul then unlocks a wave of Apostles of Baphomet that spawn across the catacomb. Kill them -- each kill gives every party member 1x Token of Apostle (Token of Apostle). Every party member needs at least one Token to pass the gate to Floor 2.
💡The party leader must also collect 10 Essence of Fire (id 6001) from the torches scattered around the catacomb before the Ancient Hero's Soul will open the gate. The second floor is Baphomet's inner sanctum. You need to activate three Purification Altars placed around the floor. After you activate all three, Baphomet becomes vulnerable.
Walk to each altar and interact with it. Apostles of Baphomet will attack you while you work. Clear them fast to protect whoever is activating the altar.
Kill Baphomet.
After all three altars are active, Baphomet spawns. He is an MVP-class monster (Baphomet#, a sealed form of the original). Kill him to complete the instance.

- 12-hour cooldown. After entering, you cannot enter again until 12 hours have passed.
- No re-entry on same run. The Curse of Baphomet locks your character out if you die and respawn outside.
- Tokens are stripped on entry. Any Tokens of Apostle you had before entering are removed at the gravestone. You earn fresh ones from Apostles inside.
- Bonus item from Rust Blackhand. If you have a Cursed Baphomet Doll (Cursed Baphomet Doll), talk to Friar Patrick who will direct you to Rust Blackhand at the monastery. He crafts a Gigantic Majestic Goat (Legendary Magestic Goat headgear) for: 1x Magestic Goat (2256) + 30x Crystal of Darkness (Crystal of Darkness) + 50x Fragment of Darkness (Fragment of Darkness) + 990,000 zeny.
