Poring Village is a beginner party instance on Prontera Field. You and your group fight through three zones full of Porings, Drops, Marins, and Popporings before facing three boss Porings. There is a fun transformation mechanic that turns you into a Parrot for 60 seconds. The whole thing is designed for new players between levels 30 and 60.
âš ï¸This instance has a strict level cap on both ends. If you are below 30 or above 60, Emily will not let you in.

Talk to Emily on Prontera Field to form a party and enter.
Emily stands on Prontera Field near a cheerful gathering of Porings. She is the instance NPC. The party leader talks to her to create the instance. Once created all members select "Enter."
Zone 1: clear the first Poring area and defeat Goldring.
The first zone has Drops, Popporings, Marins, and regular Porings scattered around. Clear all of them to reveal the boss: Monster #0 (MD_GOLDRING). Defeat Goldring to open the path to Zone 2.
💡Look for the Blue Light Column in each zone. Walk into it to transform into a Parrot (mob 1629) for 60 seconds. In Parrot form you can still attack. It is cosmetic but fun for group photos.Zone 2: clear the second Poring area and defeat Amering.
Zone 2 is a second batch of Poring-family mobs. Clear them to trigger Monster #0 (MD_AMERING). Defeat Amering to unlock Zone 3.
Zone 3: clear the Marin wave and defeat King Poring with his escort.
Zone 3 has a wave of Marins first. After clearing them, Monster #0 (MD_KING_PORING) appears with 10 escort Porings. Kill the escort first if you are having trouble, then take down King Poring to complete the instance.
Collect your rewards from the post-instance chest.
After King Poring dies a reward chest spawns.

Poring Village Leek or Poring Village Carrot -- first-visit bonus food
Poring Treasure Box -- gear bundle for new players
For repeat runs:
Poring Treasure Box -- repeat reward
Notes
- Hard level cap. You cannot enter above level 60. This instance is designed to be cleared at early levels before you move on.
- Three boss fights. Each zone has one boss. None are hard solo but at low levels bring a healer or someone with area damage.
- Transformation column. The Blue Light Column in each zone is optional. Walk into it to become a Parrot. Does not affect combat meaningfully.
- Veggie Enchanter nearby. Outside the instance at prt_fild05 (174/238) an NPC will enchant vegetable headgear for 50 Jellopy and 20,000 zeny at 70% success rate. Unrelated to the instance but worth knowing.
- Daily cooldown. Quest 12417 tracks the timer. One run per day.
