Ghenirhemin, a wealthy collector in Hugel, owns a faded fragment of the legendary Valkyrie Helm. He will restore it and let you keep it -- but only if you fund the work: ten rare monster cards, two stacks of ancient runes, and 10,000,000 zeny. He will not even tell his story unless you are already carrying 10 million zeny.
This is an end-game investment. Budget before you start.

Approach Ghenirhemin carrying 10,000,000 zeny.
He only engages with someone visibly wealthy. Without at least 10 million zeny on hand he dismisses you. With the money in your bags he tells his family story and shows you the helm fragment.
Agree to restore the helm.
Accept his offer. He explains that the cards restore the helm's power, the runes bond them to it, and the zeny is his price, then gives you the full list and waits while you gather it.
Gather everything.
This is the real time sink. The ten cards are the hard part -- card drop rates are tiny, so buying from the player market is usually faster than farming each one. The runes are bought or farmed in bulk; the 10 million zeny is the purchase price. Click any card or rune above to see its drop sources on its Database page.
Hand it all over and start the fusion.
With everything in your inventory, return to Ghenirhemin and choose to give him the items. He takes the ten cards, both rune stacks, and the 10 million zeny, and begins fusing.
Revisit until the helm is finished.
The fusion completes over two stages, and each stage advances only on a random roll (about a 1-in-10 chance per visit). Keep talking to him and waiting -- it can take many visits before the helm is ready. When it finally succeeds he becomes emotional and hands you the helm.

- You need 10M on hand just to begin. Arrive without it and Ghenirhemin will not even talk to you.
- The fusion is deliberately slow. It does not finish on the first revisit -- the random roll means many trips back. This is not a bug; be patient.
- Plan the cards early. Several are easier to buy than to farm. Stockpile passively while you do other content.
