When you first log in, Prontera is your starting point. This guide walks you through the first things to do: meet Ren, get your starter items, pick up your first quest, and find the Adventurer's Guide for level tips.
Step through the Arion Hub portal, then find Ren.
The story NPCs live in the Arion Hub (a separate area), not in the main city. Look for the Arion Hub portal in Prontera near 156, 191 and step through it.
Inside the hub, Ren is a friendly NPC who welcomes newcomers. He explains the world (Caelum City, the thinning Veil, the Resonant Guild) and gives you your first items.
Talk to him. He hands you 10 Red Potions to get you started, then points you toward Serin Alda.

Serin Alda is a Guild investigator. She is a few steps from Ren, in the same hub.
She asks you to collect 3 Jellopy from Porings outside Prontera. Porings are in the fields just outside the south and east gates.
Kill Porings and collect 3 Jellopy.
Porings drop Jellopy often. Kill a handful and you will have 3 quickly. Your inventory tracks the count.
âš ï¸You need Jellopy (item 909) in your inventory. Make sure you have not sold or dropped them before turning in.Return to Serin Alda with the Jellopy.
Talk to her again. She takes the 3 Jellopy and gives you your rewards.

This NPC gives you a hint about where to hunt based on your current Base Level. She also mentions the Map of the Day, which has +50% EXP and changes every midnight.
Level guidance (from the Adventurer's Guide)
Talk to the Adventurer's Guide any time. Her advice changes as you grow:

| 100+ | Endgame hunts and the Veilkeeper's Sanctum. |
💡After job change, head to Eden Group HQ (moc_para01) to collect free equipment for your class. The Eden group also has leveling missions. See the Eden Group guide for details.
What to do after the first quest
- Job change when you reach Job Level 10. Each job has its own guide listed under "Job Change."
- Daily Bounty Board in Prontera for a steady drip of Arion Coins every day.
- Story chapters near the Threshold in Prontera. Finishing them unlocks season content and rewards.
- Map of the Day for the +50% EXP bonus map. Server announcement goes out at noon.
- Warp Network — visit each city once to unlock instant warps back to Prontera.
Notes
- Ren's welcome items are one-time: he gives the 10 Red Potions once per character on first meeting.
- Serin Alda's quest is Chapter I: finishing it is the first story milestone and unlocks the Chronicle of Deeds entry for Chapter I.
- The Adventurer's Guide has no time limit: talk to her at any level, at any time.
