You must be a Swordman at Job Level 40 or higher to become a Knight. The Prontera Chivalry runs the test. You will visit several Knights, pass their tasks, and earn unanimous approval.
💡Use all your skill points before starting. Captain Herman will not accept you if you have unspent points.
Go to the Prontera Chivalry building inside Prontera.
Enter the large building in the upper part of Prontera. Inside, find Captain Herman.
Tell him you want to become a Knight and apply. He will explain that you must visit several Knights and pass each of their tasks.
Gather items for Sir Andrew.
Sir Andrew gives you a fetch task. You will be assigned one of two random item sets:
- Set A: 5x Elder Pixie's Moustache, 5x Wing of Red Bat, 5x Orcish Voucher, 5x Moth Dust, 5x Reptile Tongue, 5x Mane
- Set B: 5x Bug Leg, 5x Heart of Mermaid, 5x Maneater Blossom, 5x Clam Flesh, 5x Old Frying Pan, 5x Snail's Shell
Collect the items and return to Sir Andrew. If you are Job Level 50, this step is skipped.
Visit the other Knights inside Prontera.
After Sir Andrew approves, visit the rest of the Chivalry NPCs in order. They each have a short interaction or question for you.
Talk to each one. When all of them have seen you, return to Captain Herman.
Return to Captain Herman for final approval.
Go back to Captain Herman. He will gather the opinions of every Knight. All seven must approve, and they will. Say yes when asked to confirm.
You are now a Knight.

What to do next as a Knight
- Two-Hand Quicken greatly increases your attack speed with a two-handed sword. Level it up first.
- Bowling Bash is your main area skill. Very powerful once leveled.
- At Base Level 99 and Job Level 50, you can transcend to Lord Knight for a full stat and skill upgrade.
