You must be a female Archer at Job Level 40 or higher to become a Dancer. The quest is in a dance school instance connected to Comodo. You will enroll, gather dance props, and perform a step-sequence dance test.
âš ï¸Dancer is a female-only class. Male Archers cannot become Dancers and must pursue the Bard class instead.
💡Use all your skill points before visiting. The staff will not advance your enrollment if you have unspent points.
Apply at the Comodo Dance School with Aile.
Enter the job_duncer map through the dance school in Comodo. Inside, find Aile at the reception desk.
Tell her you want to enroll. She checks your job level. If you are Job Level 40 or higher, she accepts your application and asks you to come back to hear what items to bring.
Pay the tuition fee and collect your assigned items.
Talk to Aile again. She will assign you one of three random item sets and collect a 10,000 Zeny tuition fee at the same time. The NPC tells you exactly which items are needed. The three possible sets are:
- Set A: 20x Sticky Mucus, 3x Jellopy, 5x Red Potion, 1x Shoes
- Set B: 5x Earthworm Peeling, 1x Boots
- Set C: 2x Clam Shell, 5x Yellow Potion, 20x Jellopy, 10x Black Hair, 1x Sandals
Have 10,000 Zeny ready in addition to the items. Aile deducts the fee when you hand everything in. Collect the assigned items and return to Aile.
Take the practical dance test.
After handing in your items, Aile directs you to the test stage. Talk to Bijou in the inner room.
Bijou runs you through a step-sequence test on the dance floor. You must move in the correct direction (up, down, left, right, or center) in time with her cues. The test uses the in-game movement triggers on the floor tiles.
If you step the wrong way, the sequence resets. Complete the full sequence correctly to pass.
Only one person can take the dance test at a time. Wait in the chatroom queue at the waiting room if someone else is dancing.
Receive your job change from Bijou.
After you pass the dance test, Bijou confirms your performance and completes your job change on the spot.
You are now a Dancer.

1x Rope (or Whip if you were Job Level 50)
What to do next as a Dancer
- Slow Grace (Lady Luck in some versions) lowers the movement speed and attack speed of every enemy in range. Very powerful in dungeons.
- Scream has a chance to stun enemies caught in your performance area.
- Like Bards, Dancers must stand still while performing their skills.
- At Base Level 99 and Job Level 50, you can transcend to Gypsy for Marionette Control and Arrow Vulcan.
