How it works
- 10 minutes before the start the chat names the event and the field.
- At the start, click the place name in the announcement for a navigation path, or copy the field's /navi below and paste it in the game chat.
- Fight the Veil monsters on the field. Every 10 seconds the game counts everyone on the field who is alive and active (not vending, not in a chat room, not idle for 30 seconds).
- 5 minutes of that in total, and still on the field when the rift closes: 6 Festival Tokens.

Festival Tokens are account-bound, up to 60 a week per account (resets Monday 00:00 CET). Spend them at the Festival Merchant on event looks and consumables: what it sells.

Tips
- Stay on the field until the rift closes: the tokens are paid at the end, to the players who are still there.
- The 5 minutes don't have to be in one go: short breaks are fine as long as you add up 5 active minutes.
- Every level is paid the same, so it is a good first event for a new character.
Questions
When is the next Veil Rift?
Once a day at 05:00, 15:00 or 22:00 server time (CET), for 30 minutes. The slot changes from day to day: the table on this page shows the next week, also in your own time. Like every event it is announced in the chat 10 minutes before.
Do I have to kill the monsters?
Being there and active counts: alive, not vending, not in a chat room, not idle for 30 seconds. 5 minutes of that, and still on the field at the end, pay 6 Festival Tokens.
Do the rift monsters give EXP or loot?
No. They are event monsters: no base or job EXP and no drops; the reward is the Festival Tokens.
What happens at the weekly token cap?
Festival Tokens are account-bound and capped at 60 a week per account (the cap resets on Monday 00:00 server time, CET). Once it is reached the chat says so and an event pays nothing more that week.
Can I join after the start?
Yes. If you log in while it runs, the chat tells you the event, the place and the minutes left, so you can still join.
