Wiki: Stats, Refining, class pictures and the game's skill names

Changes

  • Wiki: a new Stats and traits page: what every stat and trait does, where points come from, how much a point costs, and how AP works.

The new page explains the six base stats and, for 4th jobs, the six trait stats POW, STA, WIS, SPL, CON and CRT. It shows where status points and trait points come from level by level (48 status points at level 1, 4,099 in all by level 200), what a point costs and what each stat does. It also explains AP, which goes up to 200 and is earned by using 4th job skills. Open the Status window with Alt+A to see your own numbers.

  • Wiki: all 20 fourth-class pages now show a picture of the class in the game, and 14 of them also show the class casting a skill.

Each of the 20 fourth-class pages now shows a picture of the class as it looks in the game, next to the class infobox. Fourteen of them also show the class casting a skill, under Skills: Abyss Chaser, Arch Mage, Biolo, Cardinal, Dragon Knight, Elemental Master, Hyper Novice, Inquisitor, Meister, Shadow Cross, Shinkiro, Shiranui, Soul Ascetic and Spirit Handler. The pictures help you tell the classes apart before you pick one.

  • Wiki: the Refining page now shows the refiners as they work in the game: who takes which refine level, where they stand, where the Blacksmith Blessing is offered and how shadow gear is refined.

The Refining page now follows the refiners as they work in the game. The first refiner of each town takes gear from +0 to +10, Mighty Hammer takes +7 to +9, Basta and Vestri take +10 and up to +20, and Suhnbi in Payon uses the Enriched ore; the page lists where each one stands. It says where the Blacksmith Blessing is offered: Mighty Hammer for the attempts to +8, +9 and +10, and Basta for the attempts to +11 and +12. Shadow gear is refined up to +10 by the Shadow Blacksmith in the Kafra Shop.

  • Website: skill names now match the game client; the old names still work in search.

Every skill on the website now carries the name you see in the game's skill window. Where the game's name differs from the older database name, for example Sprinkle Sand (before: Sand Attack) and Touch of Heal (before: Healing Touch), the old name stays as an alias. Searching for the old name still finds the skill.
