Haunted Prontera

Every Halloween evening the restless dead walk the streets of Prontera. Calm them for Festival Tokens at any level, and on the last night the Restless King rises.

How it works

  1. Be in Prontera when it starts: the chat warns 10 minutes before. The dead walk the plaza and the south road.
  2. Hit a restless undead 12 times: every hit does 1 damage at any level. It is calmed and a new one takes its place, 40 are on the streets at all times. They never fight back, so the town's vendors and chat rooms are left alone.
  3. Every 5 calmed gives 1 Festival Token, up to 10 a night.
  4. A night counts for you once you calmed 10. 3 counted nights in one Halloween give the title Night Warden.
  5. On 31 October, 30 minutes in, the Restless King rises on the south road. Stay near it until it falls: 5 more Festival Tokens.

40 on the streets at all times, each calmed with 12 hits of 1 damage. Event monsters: no EXP, no item drops, they never start a fight. The Restless King has 300 life for every player in Prontera who is not selling or in a chat room (600-6000).

Tips

  • The count of calmed souls for the whole server is shown in the chat at the start, every 10 minutes and at the end.
  • You do not need a party and no skill matters: 12 plain hits calm a soul. Level does not change that.
  • The finale is the only night with the Restless King: be in Prontera 30 minutes after the start.
  • Festival Tokens are account-bound and capped at 60 a week per account, like every other event.

Questions

When is Haunted Prontera?

20:30 on the evenings of 24 to 30 October, for 60 minutes, except Saturday (the War of Emperium holds the server then). The finale is on 31 October at 22:00, for 60 minutes. All times are server time.

Does it replace the daily events?

No. The three daily events keep their slots. Only on 31 October the 22:00 daily event is replaced by the finale.

What do I get?

1 Festival Token for every 5 calmed souls, up to 10 a night. 3 nights with 10 calmed or more give the title Night Warden. At the finale, 5 more tokens for everyone who stood near the Restless King for 30 seconds.

How strong is the Restless King?

Its life is 300 for every player in Prontera who is not selling or in a chat room, at least 600 and at most 6,000. Every hit does 1 damage at any level, so it falls to a crowd and not to one strong player.

What if I log in late?

The chat tells you the minutes left when you log in, and you can still calm souls until the end.
