Code of Conduct

ArionRO is a shared world. These rules keep it fair and pleasant. They apply in game, on the website and on our Discord. When something is not covered here, staff decide on the spirit of the rules: play fair and treat people decently.

Fair play

No bots, macros or automation. OpenKore and similar bots, auto-clickers, input macros, scripts that play for you, and modified clients are not allowed. You must be at the keyboard when your character is fighting or gathering. Using @autotrade to leave a vending shop open is fine.
No cheating tools. No packet editing, speed hacks, memory editors, wall hacks, or anything that changes how the game client talks to the server.
No exploiting bugs. If you find a bug that gives an advantage (duplication, broken prices, skills that do too much, places you should not reach), report it and do not use it. Abusing a bug, or profiting from someone else's abuse knowingly, is treated like cheating. Honest reports are appreciated.
Two clients at most. You may play up to two characters at the same time. Our servers allow two game sessions per internet connection. If several people play from one connection (a family, a dorm), write to us and we will raise the limit for you.
Your own account only. Do not share accounts, play on someone else's, or sell, buy or rent accounts.

Trading and money

No real-money trading. Selling or buying items, zeny, characters or Premium Tokens for real money or anything outside the game is not allowed, for both sides of the deal.
No scams. Deceiving people in trades, vending or deals (item swaps, fake prices, impersonation, "I'll pay you later") is not allowed. Read the trade window before you accept: staff restore items only when a rule was broken.
No advertising other servers, services or sellers.

Behaviour

Respect people. No harassment, threats, hate speech, slurs, or attacks on someone's origin, religion, gender, sexuality or disability. No sexual content involving others without consent, and nothing sexual involving minors, ever.
No spam or flooding in public chat, and no deliberate griefing (luring monsters onto people, blocking NPCs or portals, kill-stealing after being asked to stop).
Names: character, guild and party names must not be offensive or impersonate staff. Offending names are changed.
Do not pretend to be staff. Staff never ask for your password.
Private information: do not post anyone's real name, address, photos or other personal details without their permission.

Staff

Staff follow the same rules, plus their own: they do not trade with players, give items to friends, or use staff tools for personal gain. Every GM command is logged. If you think a staff member broke the rules, write to support@arionword.com.

Reporting

In game: @request <message> reaches online staff. Otherwise: our Discord or support@arionword.com. Screenshots and the time it happened help a lot. We may read the logs of the situation (chat, trades, item movements) to investigate; see the Privacy Policy.

Penalties

Staff choose the penalty that fits. The usual steps are: warning, mute, jail, temporary suspension, permanent ban. Serious cases skip steps: botting, cheating tools, duplication, real-money trading and hate speech can lead straight to a permanent ban. Items, zeny and progress gained by breaking the rules are removed.

Appeals

If you think a penalty was wrong, write to support@arionword.com from the email on your account, with your account name. We review the case again, and we answer every appeal.
