Database: spawn places, NPC exchanges and Hunting Season coins

Changes

  • Database: monster pages now show the instances and events that spawn them (Rift Matriarch: The Sundering Trial), item pages list NPC exchange menus (Abusive Robe: Commissary, Prontera Central Palace), and boxes no one can get are no longer listed under How to get.

Monster pages now list the instances and events that bring a monster in, under Where it lives: the Rift Matriarch shows The Sundering Trial. Item pages list the NPCs that hand an item out through an exchange menu, with the place: the Abusive Robe shows the Commissary in the Prontera Central Palace. Boxes that no player can get are no longer listed under How to get, so an item shows only sources you can use.

The Where it lives box on the Rift Matriarch's page: Appears in: The Sundering Trial (instance), with The Sundering Trial wiki page under it.

The How to get box on the Abusive Robe's page: Quest and NPC rewards, Commissary, Prontera Central Palace (165/255), and Inside: Mysterious Blue Box.

  • Hunting Season page: it now shows what the game pays: 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 Hunting Coins for the kill tiers, once per account, from Base Level 100.

The Hunting Season page now takes its numbers from the game. 300, 1,500 and 5,000 kills of the month's monsters pay 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 Hunting Coins, and the 5,000 step also gives the Season Hunter title once. The coins are paid once per account each month: the first of your characters at Base 100 or higher to reach a step gets them. Before, the page said 3,000, 7,000 and 15,000.

The Rewards table on the Hunting Season page: 300 kills 1,000 Hunting Coins, 1,500 kills 2,000 Hunting Coins, 5,000 kills 3,000 Hunting Coins and the Season Hunter title (once).

  • Item database: everything the Veil Artificer in Einbroch makes now shows its recipe (materials and zeny) instead of 'No known source'.

Item pages now read the Veil Artificer's crafting list in Einbroch (240/197). Each piece he makes shows the materials and zeny he asks for under How to get, for example the Black Feather. 52 items gained this row; 40 of them said 'No known source' before.

The How to get box on the Black Feather's page: Exchange, Veil Artificer, for 5x Oridecon, 5x Elunium, 1x Gold + 300,000 z, Einbroch, the City of Steel (240/197).

  • Item database: 42 items that monsters drop only while a quest is active (for example Wood for the ship's Sailor) now show it under Quest drops.

Some monsters drop an item only while you have a certain quest: during The first battle, Porings drop the Wood the ship's Sailor asks for. 42 item pages now list these drops under Quest drops, with the monster, the quest and the chance. Quest drops are not changed by the server drop rate.

The How to get box on the Wood page: Quest drops, Poring while the quest The first battle is active: 100 %, and the note that quest drops are not changed by the server drop rate.

  • Item database: on phones, 5,924 item pages (for example Wood) showed nothing below the item name; they now show the description and How to get again.

An item page has three boxes: the in-game description, what the item does, and how to get it. When one of them had nothing to show, screens up to 760 px wide squeezed all three into an empty strip. We checked all 22,081 item pages: 5,924 had this problem. Computers and tablets were not affected.

The Wood item page on an iPhone: the In-game description box, the How to get box with the Poring quest drop, and the On sale now box.
