Wiki search answers questions

Website

• Wiki search: ask a question such as “where do I get Elunium” on the Search page, or press Enter in the wiki search box, and get up to 5 matching wiki and database pages. Questions with no good match are kept as text (no account, no IP address) for 90 days, so we can see what the wiki is missing.

Type a question the way you would ask a friend. The Search page puts up to 5 Best matches from the wiki and the database on top, and it still finds the page when a word has a small typo, such as "refinning". No AI writes the answer: the matches come from the wiki page titles, tags and summaries, the database names and a list of common questions we wrote by hand. When nothing fits well, the page says so, and the question is kept as text for 90 days, with no account and no IP address, so we can see which wiki pages are missing.

• Wiki: the Nature Friendly and Two-Handed Staff Mastery skill pages now name the damage bonus the in-game text leaves out.

Nature Friendly also adds 10% per level to the damage of Hawk Rush and Hawk Boomerang, and Two-Handed Staff Mastery adds 1% magic damage per level while you hold a Two-Handed Staff. The in-game skill text names neither bonus. Both pages now have a Hidden effect line with links to the iRO Wiki pages that list the same numbers.
