ArionRO runs on two currencies: zeny (standard Ragnarok money) and Arion Coins. Both are earned by playing. Neither can be bought with real money. This guide explains how the economy works and where to spend both currencies.
Arion Coins
Arion Coin (Arion Coin) is the server's custom currency. Every coin is earned in-game. There is no cash shop.

💡Nothing sold for Arion Coins gives a stat advantage. All purchases are cosmetic or convenience items like boosts that any player can earn.
Arion Exchange
A smaller cosmetic shop in Prontera. A few items are always available (not rotating).

Map of the Day
Every day one field map gets a +50% EXP bonus. The map rotates at midnight by date. At noon, a server announcement tells everyone which map has the bonus.

The Adventurer's Guide NPC in Prontera also mentions the Map of the Day when you talk to her. If you are hunting on that map, you get 50% more base and job EXP automatically. No item or activation needed.
Zeny
Zeny works the same as on any Ragnarok server. Kill monsters, sell drops to NPCs or other players. Use zeny to:
- Attune Warp Network waypoints (2,000 zeny each, one-time)
- Buy potions and equipment from NPC shops
- Refine gear at Hollgrehenn
There are no zeny sinks beyond standard refining costs and NPC shop prices. The economy stays healthy because Arion Coins handle the custom-content layer, leaving zeny for normal RO things.
Notes
- Arion Coins are account-shared through storage: put them in storage to move them between your characters.
- No coin-to-zeny exchange: the two currencies are separate. You cannot trade coins for zeny or vice versa at an NPC.
- No real-money purchase: every coin, every cosmetic, every boost is earned by playing or voting. If someone offers to sell you coins for real money, that is against the server rules.
