At this bracket you have your second job class and real skills. EXP per monster is climbing. These maps are dense and the grind feels rewarding.
💡Check the Daily Hunt Board in Prontera () every day. The mid-tier contracts often target monsters in this exact level range and pay Arion Coins on top of the EXP you earn from kills.
Spot 1: Prontera Fields East (Magnolias)
Map:
Walk east from Prontera or warp near the Prontera east gate area.
Monsters here:
- Magnolia (Magnolia) -- Level 53, Water element. 212 on this map. One of the densest single-type spawns in this bracket.
- Metaller (Metaller) -- Level 55, Fire element. 91 on the map. A bit harder but easy to kill.
Why it is good: 300 plus monsters on one map, mostly Water element. Lightning-type skills (Hunter's electro bolt, Wizard spells) do bonus damage. Safe for melee too since Magnolias are not aggressive.
Class note: All classes work here. Hunters and Wizards will clear fastest. The sheer density rewards AoE.
Spot 2: Mt. Mjolnir (Argiope)
Map:
North-east of Geffen, south of Mjolnir Mountains. Walk north from the Geffen field or use the Kafra warp system.
Monsters here:
- Argiope (Argiope) -- Level 75, Poison element. 166 on this map.
- Mantis (Mantis) -- Level 65, Earth element. 44 on the map.
- Driller (Driller) -- Level 65, Earth element. 44 on the map.
Why it is good: Argiopes give high EXP for their level and have a large spawn count. Fire attacks do double damage on Argiopes. This spot scales well from 60 all the way to 75.
âš ï¸Argiopes are Poison element -- Poison attacks heal them. Mantis and Driller are Earth element -- Wind attacks deal extra damage to them. Use Fire on Argiopes, Wind on the rest.
Class note: Wizards can Storm Gust or Fire Bolt for huge clears. Sages with Fire Endow can melee Argiopes for good damage. Hunters with Fire Arrows dominate here.
Spot 3: Zenhai Marsh (Alligators)
Map:
South-west of Comodo. Use the Kafra to warp to Comodo, then walk south-west.
Monsters here:
- Alligator (Alligator) -- Level 57, Water element. 194 on this map.
- Flora (Flora) -- Level 59, Earth element. 64 on the map. Immobile plant. Safe kills.
Why it is good: Alligators are slow and Water element, so Lightning attacks rip through them. The 194-spawn density of Alligators alone makes this map a consistent grind spot for levels 55 to 70.
Class note: Hunters with Electric Arrows and Wizards with Juperos Burst or Thunderstorm clear this fast. Rogues and Assassins with Enchant Poison can also grind here effectively.
Spot 4: Schwaltzwald Camp (Grand Peco)
Map:
South-west of Juno (Yuno). Take the airship to Juno, then walk south-west.
Monsters here:
- Grand Peco (Grand Peco) -- Level 75, Fire element. 182 on this map.
- Geographer (Geographer) -- Level 73, Earth element. 42 on the map.
Why it is good: Grand Peco has a very large spawn and gives solid EXP. Water attacks do well against them. The nearby Geographers (Earth) are plant type and easy extra EXP for AoE jobs.
Class note: Monks with Investigate, Sages with Water Endow, and Wizards with Water Ball or Cold Bolt do very well here. Grand Pecos are Fire so Frozen skills hit them doubly hard.
