This is the fifth chapter of the Arion Story and the Season 2 arc. The Widening Rift from Chapter IV has become an open war: the Resonant Guild and the Seekers now fight each other for control of the Veil Rifts. And a revelation surfaces that changes everything: The Voice was not lost behind the Veil. It was deliberately sealed there 2,847 years ago by people who feared what it was. The Veil was the lock. The rifts are the old seal coming apart.
💡You must complete Chapter IV (arion_chapter must be 4) before this quest opens. If the War Envoy turns you away, go finish Chapter IV first.

Guild players: The Envoy tells you the Guild and the Seekers are now fighting over every rift. The Seekers would throw the Rift Fronts open to be studied. The Guild will not allow it. He asks you to go to the contested fronts, win them for the Guild, and hold the line so order decides what comes through, not curiosity.
Seeker players: The Envoy tells you the Guild fights to hold the Rift Fronts shut. The Seekers fight to keep them open long enough to learn the truth. He asks you to go to the contested fronts and carry a front for the Seekers so the rifts keep speaking.
Both paths set your quest flag (arion_q5 = 1) and send you to the contested fronts.
Win a contested Rift Front.
Rift Fronts are PvP-enabled contested zones that appear during the Season 2 war events. To carry a front for your faction:
- Go to the active Rift Front (watch server announcements).
- Fight alongside your faction to hold or take the rift.
- The front is carried when your faction controls it at the end of the event window.
Return to the War Envoy after carrying a front.
Once you have carried a contested front, go back to the War Envoy in the hub and talk to him.
He has news that changes the meaning of everything you have been fighting for.
Guild players: He tells you the Guild found the truth in captured Seeker archives. The Voice was sealed deliberately, 2,847 years ago, by those who feared what it was. The Veil was the lock. Every rift the Guild fights to control is a crack in a prison the world built on purpose. He says the Guild was right to keep the seal whole, and this war is the same war the ancients fought.
Seeker players: He tells you the oldest readings the Guild would rather burn confirm what the Seekers always suspected. The Voice counted those 2,847 years from inside a prison. The Veil was that prison. The rifts are the seal failing whether anyone wills it or not. He says the only question left is whether you understand what you are about to let out, or stumble into it blind.

The War Envoy's parting words differ: Guild players hear "hold it anyway," Seeker players hear "watch the Veil." But both factions now know the same fact: the old seal is breaking, and the 4th awakening is somewhere ahead.
💡Chapter VI opens as Season 3. It is the climax of the whole arc and the gateway to the 4th-job awakening.
