ArionRO is a 5x experience rate server. That means leveling takes real time and real effort. You will not reach level 99 in a few hours. That is by design. Every level you earn means something.
This guide gives you a simple path of places to hunt as a new player, from level 1 all the way to the upper 80s, where you can decide how to specialize.
💡The Eden Group has free missions for every level range. Always pick up a mission before you go hunt. You earn extra EXP just for completing the kill count.
Level 1 to 25: Prontera Fields
Start right outside Prontera. The fields are safe, monsters are easy, and you are never far from a Kafra if you run out of potions.
Monsters to hunt:
- Poring (Poring) at Prontera Fields (). Level 1, very weak. Good for Novices.
- Drops (Drops) in the same area. Level 2, also very easy.
- Lunatic (Lunatic) near Prontera. Level 3, drops Clover which sells well.
- Fabre (Fabre) and Pupa (Pupa). Level 6 and 4 respectively. A bit more EXP than Porings.
Walk out of Prontera's south or west gate and start fighting. Return to the Kafra to save and restock potions as needed.
💡Pupa cannot attack you but gives decent EXP for its level. If a monster is not fighting back, kill as many as you can find.
Level 25 to 45: Payon Forest and Payon Cave
Once you can one-shot or two-shot Porings, it is time to move.
Monsters to hunt:
- Rocker (Rocker) on the fields east of Payon. Level 15. Decent EXP for mid-Novice and first-job characters.
- Poison Spore (Poison Spore) near Payon. Level 26. Good EXP, drops useful items.
- Head to Payon Cave for denser spawns once you are comfortable ().
Payon Cave has several floors. Stay on floor 1 until you can survive the monsters on floor 2. Bring extra potions.
âš ï¸Poison Spores have a Poison-element attack. Bring Antidotes or Holy Water if you find yourself getting poisoned and losing HP fast.
Level 45 to 70: Orc Village and Ant Hell
At this range you want maps with higher monster density and better EXP.
Good options:
- Orc Village fields (gef_fild10, northwest of Geffen). Orcs are melee-heavy and give good EXP. Great for Swordman and close-range jobs.
- Ant Hell (for jobs with area skills or ranged attacks). Dense spawns, high EXP if you can handle it.
- Geffen Dungeon floor 1 and 2 () for Mages and Acolytes. High magic-use EXP.
Keep up with your Eden missions in this range. The missions will point you toward the right maps.
💡If a map feels too hard, go back one level bracket and do Eden missions there for a few hours. You will catch up in levels faster than you expect.
Level 70 to 99: Pyramids, Sphinx, Orc Dungeon
At level 70+ you have more skill options and can target harder maps.
- Pyramids (moc_pryd01 and above) near Morroc. High Undead monster density. Great for Acolyte jobs using Turn Undead or Holy skills.
- Sphinx (in_sphinx1 and above). Good for AoE jobs. Anubis on floor 5 is a famous EXP spot once you have an Acolyte/Priest.
- Orc Dungeon for physical jobs. Dense orcs, good zeny drops.
At this range you should also be working toward your second job change, if you have not already.

💡This server has a lot of players who are happy to help a new player find a party. Parties level faster than solo. Ask in the main chat or shout when you reach a new map.
