The Kafra Corporation runs a network of helpful staff across Midgard. You will see Kafra employees standing in every town, and even on some field maps. Talk to one whenever you need to save your respawn point, put items in storage, or get a teleport.
💡Always save at the Kafra in each new town you visit. If you die, you will respawn at your last save point instead of starting from scratch.
Find a Kafra employee.
Kafra employees wear red uniforms. You will find at least one in every town.
In Prontera, there is a Kafra right near the fountain in the center of town.
Walk up to her and press the talk key (or left-click her name).
Save your respawn point.
In the Kafra menu, choose "Save" (or "Save current location" / "Change save point"). It is free.
From now on, if your character dies, you wake up at this Kafra's location instead of getting sent back to the default spawn.
âš ï¸If you forget to save in a new town and you die in the dungeon next to it, you will respawn all the way back at your old save point. Get in the habit of saving when you arrive anywhere new.Use storage to keep your items safe.
Your bag has a limited number of slots. When it fills up, you cannot pick up anything new.
Choose "Open Storage" from the Kafra menu. A chest window opens with 600 slots shared across your whole account. Drag items from your bag into storage to free up space.
Your storage is accessible at any Kafra in any town. Items you put in do not disappear.
💡Store things you need later but do not carry every day: rare drops, crafting materials, event items. Keep your bag free for potions and what you need right now.Use the teleport service (optional, costs zeny).
If you choose "Teleport" from the Kafra menu, you can pay a small amount of zeny to warp to another town instantly.
This is handy when you are in a hurry. The cost depends on the destination, but for beginners it is affordable. If you are low on zeny, just walk or use the free Warper NPC instead.
