The Eden Group gives every new player a free set of equipment matched to their job class. This is separate from the leveling missions (though both come from the same building). Getting your free Eden gear is one of the first things you should do after changing your first job.
💡Eden equipment is strong enough to carry you through the entire first tier of leveling. There is no reason to buy gear from a shop before you have claimed your free Eden set.
Get to Eden Group Headquarters.
The Eden Group HQ is a special building in the Morroc area (map: moc_para01). The fastest way there is to use the Warper NPC in Prontera and choose "Eden Group Headquarters."
Once inside, you will see a large open hall with many NPCs. You only need the two equipment NPCs for this guide.
Join the Eden Group first (if you have not already).
Before you can claim equipment, you need to be a member. Talk to Secretary Lime Evenor near the entrance and choose "Join the Eden Group."
She will give you an Eden Group Mark item. Keep it. You can use it to teleport back to HQ from anywhere.

Two NPCs hand out free gear. Walk deeper into the building and look for:
- Phelix and Izaac are the equipment officers.
Talk to either one and they will open a menu showing equipment you can claim based on your job.
Pick up your free gear.
The NPCs offer equipment in level brackets. You can take gear from the bracket that matches your current level.
When you first arrive, take the Lv 1 to 40 set for your job. It covers:
- Armor (body armor suited to your job)
- Shoes
- Garment (cloak or cape)
- Headgear
- Weapon for your job
Each piece is free. Just click and receive.
💡Come back to these NPCs every time you hit a new level bracket (around Lv 40, 70, 100, 130). They will have a stronger set waiting for you, still free.âš ï¸The equipment is Eden Group property, so it cannot be traded or sold. It is also not refinable past a small bonus. But it is strong enough to level with comfortably.Equip your new gear.
Open your Equipment window (press Alt+Q) and drag your new items into the correct slots.
If a piece will not equip, check:
- Your current Base Level meets the item's minimum level.
- Your job class can wear that item type.
When everything is on, you will see a noticeable jump in your defense and attack.

💡You do not have to do Eden missions to claim equipment. The gear is a separate freebie. Missions give EXP. Gear is always free to take from Phelix and Izaac.
